Nah man, normal men don't go there to pick up women, just to look at them behind the windows (and watch the losers who do go there to pick them up). Its great fun to go out for a night with some friends there. Always something to see

I have a cousin who's been to Holland a few times and he's told me he's seen whole families go for a walk in the Red Light District, with their children and all. I'd love to live in such a liberal country. So, do you live in Amsterdam? It's a beautiful city!

I heard on the news yesterday that the Brazilian government has distributed 11 million condoms among the 800000 turists that are visiting the country during Carnival, as well as among the general population. It's like that every year, Carnival is all about dancing, singing and having a lot of sex. I know some guys who've been there during Carnival and they all say it's one big orgy!

Yeah, makes me wonder what those parents are thinking since the girls behind the windows wear practically nothing (although tv nowadays leaves little for the imagination anyway). But the place just has a wonderfull atmosphere. You see groups of people from all over the world who just cant believe their eyes and they just stand there laughing and having fun with their friends (they're usually not sober). There are so many groups of men who just come there for the weekend to see it all and experience 'certain' freedoms. Its so easy to hook up with a group of foreigners and show them the sights and for us to get to know a bit of their culture.
I live about 40 min. drive from amsterdam but we have excelent public transport which gets you there in 25 min. It is a beautiful city but its not where I would want to live. My town is about pop. 25000 and I like that more than city life. I like to have some nature arround me.

Well, I think of it like this, if a child is very small then she has no idea what sex is therefore you could have that child watch a porn movie without it being harmful in any way. The child will have no idea what the hell that is. Now, if a child already knows what sex is, and assuming that child's parents told her sex is a natural thing, it can't hurt either. Of course, we can say it's not appropriate but it's no reason to panic either, it's not like the child is going to turn into a pervert because of that (many times it's sexual repression that does the trick). As far as seeing people naked, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, in my opinion. The human body is a natural thing, we only began wearing clothes to warm ourselves up not because it was a bad thing, and the earlier a child learns to feel comfortable with the naked body (or better, never even becomes unconfortable with it) the better she will feel about her own body in the future, she won't be ashamed of it.

Another thing my cousin told me is that there are many foreigners living in Holland which, in my opinion, makes it even a greater place to live since I love meeting people from other countries and with different cultures. You seem to live in a nice place, far from the city's noise and close to Nature but sufficiently close to the city. Fortunately I live in a place like that as well, close to the beach and with lots of trees nearby, in a quiet, pretty neighbourhood, yet still close to the city.
