Yeah, makes me wonder what those parents are thinking since the girls behind the windows wear practically nothing (although tv nowadays leaves little for the imagination anyway). But the place just has a wonderfull atmosphere. You see groups of people from all over the world who just cant believe their eyes and they just stand there laughing and having fun with their friends (they're usually not sober). There are so many groups of men who just come there for the weekend to see it all and experience 'certain' freedoms. Its so easy to hook up with a group of foreigners and show them the sights and for us to get to know a bit of their culture.
I live about 40 min. drive from amsterdam but we have excelent public transport which gets you there in 25 min. It is a beautiful city but its not where I would want to live. My town is about pop. 25000 and I like that more than city life. I like to have some nature arround me.
