I would suggest you avoid Berserk. The anime is ridiculously bad. Horrible pacing, important characters missing, bad Lodoss TV like animation, and no closure on the arc. Save your money for the manga.

yeah, lodoss was good but the animation sucked.
i like berserk though, but the animation is probably the worst part about it.

There are about 28 volumes of Berserk. USA only has 2 or 3 so far. Man the manga is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo AWESOME! It puts the anime to shame and the anime is the best anime I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot of stuff!

The animation of Berserk was OK, not great but decent. You get alot of those cheap stills though.
The Berserk ending just plain ol'suck

I don't mind animation so much. If I like it, I'll watch it. Thought animation really helps

The Drawing style for the Show is Beautiful. It's just that there are a ton of still shots. Man I want to watch it a 57th time now!
 :pOh and I have watched the entire show in a day 3 or 4 times before. When you go 7 months without a job your life kinda blows.
