Posted by: nicechris - 10-12-2004, 03:01 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (6)

Hello!

No Question only FX is coming in my House ^_^
But FX has 2 OVA Sets.

I need only Love Hina Again.

but why shouldn't take the Perfect OVA when the Price is the same?!

Or is the Again Single DVD better?
Has it more Extras as the Perfect OVA?

thx
chris

Emo and how it touches the soul

Alrighty, I had posted a decently long story and stuff on another forum and I really don't want to have to retype it all, so here's a link to it:

http://www.penny-arcade.com/forums/viewt...hp?t=78371

Here I wrote my side of a story that happened to me friday night. There are two IM conversations that go with the initial post and one further down. Here they are:

Anyways, as those who can see, I have total unanimous support and people believe I wasn't in the wrong. However, what do you all think?

  Christopher Reeve Dies
Posted by: evilomar - 10-11-2004, 12:13 PM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (39)

I'm sure you guys have heard by now, that actor Christopher Reeves, mostly remembered for playing the role of Superman, died Sunday, he was 52. It usually doesn't bother me when famous people die. This one however, did bring me down today. I saw the first movie as a child and, because of it started reading comic books. To me he was my childhood hero; He made me believe that a man could fly. You can't think of Superman without thinking of Reeve. Now as an adult I still looked at him as a hero, for never giving up, even though he was paralyzed. I even got a bit teary eyed during the Super Bowl commercial that showed Christopher Reeve walking again. This is truly sad news and a great lost, not only to Holywood, or comic book fans, but to humanity. He will be truly missed.

"But most will remember this sad day as the day the proudest, most noble man they ever knew finally fell. For those who loved him -- one who would call him husband, one who would be his pal, or those who would call him son -- this is the darkest day they could ever imagine. They raised him to be a hero: to know the value of sacrifice, to know the value of life. And for those who served with Superman in the protection of all life comes the shock of a failure: the weight of being too late to help. For a city to live, a man had given his all and more. But it's too late. For this is the day that a Superman died."

I found this Sailor Moon S box set and I'm pretty sure that it's a bootleg. Can anybody tell me what company made it and if it's a good set?

  Doujinshi

Does anyone here buy doujinshi (normal, yaoi, hentai, etc.)? If so, how many do you own and what series do you buy doujinshi of? I don't have many maybe 60 and my favorite normal doujins are Dragonball ones.
