Here I wrote my side of a story that happened to me friday night. There are two IM conversations that go with the initial post and one further down. Here they are:

It seems to me she is very jealous, so he kinda likes you (sorry to point out the obvious).

But for some poeple like her, they get very jealous. Maybe the other forum posts on the link were a little too harsh.

But she seemed crazy near the end. I'm sure it will sort itself out, it always does, be it good or bad

For starters I'd like to say I don't really think of you as being cynnical, maybe a little blunt, yes, but that's not exactly a bad thing. I do think of you as being very angry at the world but I believe you have your reasons and that doesn't mean you're a bad person (your not!). As far as that girl's concerned my advice is that you forget about her, she's not worth wasting your time. Particularly if you don't like her. Like kakoi_sugoi_yama said she's too much of a drama queen and women like that are nothing but trouble. If you don't like her and she's "seeing someone" then there's no point in trying to mend things. Better move along.

Or maybe she is seeing someone, though I doubt it?

Some drama queens can't help being drama queens. Some are dramas queens only rarely.

Either way, can you just sort it out? Go contact her and ask her to meet up ad have a heart to heart or "truth session"

Kak, If I may give you an advice, don't take a girl to a debate party for a first date. It's not exactly romantic, you know....

If you get to talk to her again, I would ask her again what you did wrong. If she doesn't answer, so be it.

well, she brought me to the party, not vice versa.

THe party was a hippy/artsy jam band type of affair. I just happened to strike up conversation about debate with other people.

I got my iPod the day after.
