Alright in the manual to the gameshark it reads..." Once you have selected 'DVD movie player' from the main menu you will be taken to a screen with buttons numbered 1 to 6. In North America all movies are Region 1. Therefore choose '1' to play discs for this Region.

If you are from a different region then select the appropriate region number for your disc." That is what the manual states and I don't have any other region discs so I don't physically know if it really works or not.

Nope, Panasonic made a Gamecube that also plays DVDs. www.Lik-Sang.com has it, check it out. They also have the Orange Gamecube! ^_^

No Suzakuseikun as stated above I was reffering to the "GBA SP" but you are right I do own the DVD Gamecube. AKA the true Platinum Gamecube. Mine even has blue lights that light up the front display. It is very nice...

hey the Panasonic Gamecube is coming with me. That's why I want Kakoi to check on the LCD screens then we can hook it up in the rent a car and play on the way the convention
