I've heard some pretty bad reviews of MI's Turn A subs, but before I decide whether or not I should buy the set I'd first like to see some examples of the subtitles for myself so that I can see whether or not I should buy the set since I want to see the series so badly. So I was wondering if any of you could perhaps post a screen shot or maybe just some direct quotes from the series? Or maybe a link? Please?

I just wanted to know how much people spent so far on HK Anime DVD.

i cant seem to find any companys that make one. i saw an AS 3 disc on ebay but i dunno how the subs are. anyone know if an MI or MAC or FX set exists? how are the subs for the AS? thx

Someone needs to release a HK version of Starblazers so I don't have to pay $90 for the first season and $100+ for the second one. was just checking out some sites and they brought back so many memories :]

My wife saw the ads on TV today for Spirited Away.
She said she saw them three times throughout the course of the day.
It's supposed to have a limited release in North America on September 20th.

This is a great place to see what the colour should actually be and hear what a great job Disney has done with the dubs. Sen is still a bit too manic for my tastes but that's Disney for you.

On some of the DVD that I have, there seem to be a little white glue piece or whatever it is underneath the disc. What is it and why is it there?

What's listed as the Yu-Gi-Oh OVA by Anime Cartoon/Manga International ( http://www.import-anime.com/index.php?pa...amp;list=Y ) is actually the Yu-Gi-Oh movie, not the OVA.

why do people constantly complain about HK subs? yeah sometimes they ARE bad.... but if you can still understand the basics of the anime, then what should it matter?

second..... yeah character names are wrong all the time also..... but like before, once you get used to it it won't matter also.....

but pretty much i'm just saying..... you've been givin the option to aquire SOOOOOO much unknown anime on dvd now..... so shouldn't you be happy with getting it any way you can? why must people constantly trash sets that have sub par sub jobs?...... would you rather just NOT have the option of ever seeing the anime?

Hi, my first post. ^_^

Anyway i want to order some of the titles listed here. I've picked an initial 3 titles from the MI/AV/FX section which according to the FAQ will cost a flat $12 in international shipping.

But when i come to check out the shipping is listed at $6 and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it. Have the shipping costs been changed and the FAQ not updated to reflect them, or is PayPal just broken? ^_^ How do other international customers deal with this?

On an unrelated note will you be getting some more Ghibli collection discs in soon? I have quite a few on officially released R0/1/2/3 discs, and i'll probably be getting the others as they are released but me wants to see the rest in the mean time.
