*I am a huge fan of the fantasy genre of anime. So if you can think of something I may not have feel free to make an offer (same goes of other anime genres as well). However, odds are that Ill have any fantasy anime you offer that is not listed. If by some act you happen to have something I dont in the fantasy genre, odds are that I will be willing to make a deal.*

  blue screen of death
Posted by: Ranmafan - 02-27-2006, 10:21 AM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (8)

hi, i recently got this dreaded virus, now i am not a hacker. i know how to use computers, that is all. However, this won't let me start up my laptop (obviously im on a different computer now), it wont even let me get to the safe mode. Whenever i turn it on it goes to the black screen that lets me choose safe mode, last known good configuration, start normally, etc. I have tried all three of these and the blue screen comes up. the question i have is that since i dont have backups of the programs on my computer, is there anyway to fix this without reformatting it? i would hate to lose all the songs i have downloaded.Sad

  Cheesiest anime's
Posted by: animeshop - 02-26-2006, 04:58 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (8)

Whats the most cheesiest anime you guys have ever seen? I recently remembered this anime I saw in the 80's called GoldWing. It was so funnily cheesy and corny - especially the music.

GoldWing, Goldwing - superhero, as fast as lightning he can fly (or something like that lol)

I've searched everywhere on the net for it, but could never find it - I'd love to get a copy and just remember it. (At the time it was my fav anime, Big Grin - bear in mind I was just a kid)

  MI ditching gatefolds??
Posted by: snowboarder - 02-25-2006, 11:08 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (9)

I'm not crying wolf here...just asking if anyone else has had this experience with their MI sets. When EZDVD took over the FX line is when I stopped buying anything FX...I like the gatefolds better than the R1 style cases. I know it's stupid but it's what I like.

Anyways, my last 3 shipments have included 1 set each that isn't gatefold style but the EZDVD style of 3 disc sets with the middle insert. The sets I'm talking about are GITS SAC 2nd Gig, Gasaraki and Daphne in the Brilliant Blue. These are definitely MI sets...(2) D & (1) E series #s, Fantasy Productions, etc. The reason why I find it odd is another collector that I talk to via IM has the same sets, same artwork and identifying #s, but his are gatefold sets. Imagine my surprise to get mine and they have the new style cases with the insert in the middle for the 2nd disc.

Anyone in the know have any info?

Later!!!

Everquest 1 still lives and isnt dying, expansion 11
Posted by: Liete - 02-25-2006, 01:26 PM - Forum: Video Gaming - Replies (9)

Thats right, despite it sequel being released, and the amount of players nearly being cut in half , however since Sony released the "Titanium Edition" last month containing all ten expansions and the game together for $19.99 the server populations seem to be on the rise once again.

Many of the games past few expansions have been completely overhauling graphics throughout the game, revamping character models and existing parts of the world as well as expanding onto new. Sony recently launched a site exclusively for players of the game http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/

Information on expansion # 11 http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/expans...phecyofro/ and im pretty sure a #12 is in the works.

The game has been re-packaged like five different times, or maybe more, I dunno anyway... Boredum motivated me to pick up a copy of the Platinum edition.

And no, despite the graphics overhauls its still no Everquest 2, not even quite world of Warcraft, it went from looking like a GIANT Playstation game, to looking like a high res n64 game with dreamcast character models.

Whats so great about it?

Its the only game with an open pvp server besides World of Warcraft which im utterly bored with.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/260296.asp < The latest release for those interested, despite many misconceptions its not to late, the game is far from dead, and new content is being added all the time.

  Making fun of Matrix

Back in '03, JJ was recomending to watch the Matrix. It's been a while since the movie.

Not to sure how well this gets circulated, but here is the link to 'Fart Within the Matrix' show. For a good laugh, download and watch.

  ANIME qUESTION
Posted by: Ryo of Inferno - 02-24-2006, 02:00 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (2)

Well I just watched an anime trailer recently and the anime looked pretty tight. I was wondering if anyone had heard anything good about it. THe anime is called Robot Hunter Casshan and although it was made in the 90's it looks older. 80's tribute maybe??? Anywa I was wondering if it is as good as it looks or if it was similar to Vampire Princess Miyu the tv series which I absolutly loathe. I mean the only good thing about that was Lava. Any I'm starting to ramble now so later.

Posted by: snowboarder - 02-23-2006, 09:39 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (13)

and i gotta say it was pretty bad a**. The animation, music and seiyus (sp) were all awesome...from my point of view at least.

For those of you that have seen it what did you think about it? I'm looking forward to #2 which should be out around the 5th of April or somewhere around there.

Later!!
