I'm just wondering if anyone has any information relating to a subtitled release of the third Tenchi Ryo-Ohki incantation.

I'm not really fussed if they release a single OVA on a single DVD, because the wait for the episodes is really going to drag, especially come cliffhanger time.

Has anyone any information relating to this release? Will the 'respective' bootleggers await the OVA to be released in it's entirety before producing a compilation set of all six episodes and any potential special episode that may be made to fit alongside it as we've seen before?

Thanks to anyone taking the time to respond to this, I'm well-aware that information is a little sketchy with regards to Tenchi Muyo OVA 3.

I'm quite happy to purchase the single Japanese volume releases though, it's just I missed the opportunity to do so with financial ties. I'll certainly be supporting this series once I am able to do so with purchases of the region 2 originals.

... The regret in not doing so already is horribly agonizing.

I was curious to see what were other peoples first exposure to anime. Not just the first they ever saw, but the first that made such an impact that they knew they'd ALWAYS be a fan- especially of that series.

For me it was a program called "FORCE FIVE". This was a show on HBO (in NYC anyway) that aired around '81 or '82. It was English dubbed episodes of what was then collectively called "Shogun Warriors": Dangaurd Ace, Grandizer, Gaiking and Starvengers (renamed Spaceketeers). I was hooked as soon as I saw it, running home after school to catch it with my friends, covering my notebooks in doodles of them, to buying the comics and toys, to dressing like them on Halloween (if any of you older guys remember the old Ben Cooper costumes). I still collect Super Robot stuff to this day.

I just got the Slayers MAC set and was wondering if I should post a review. Only saw one ep. Id see more, but Im waiting for a friend. We might watch it in a marathon. ANYWAY. My point is, I dont know a thing about reviews, and its basically great. Cept for a few things.
1) They say its the Perfect Collection cause its English and Jap. Thats only Slayers Next.
2) It is great overall (Only saw one ep I said) but it has a SERIOUS PROBLEM. That is this. The music, is normal. But the voices are washed out. You have to blare it to hear the voices. Almost as if the voices were recorded in another room. Trust me, it gets annoying, FAST. Got on my nerves during the opening theme.
I cant compare versions, seeing as how I only have this. But I figure people should be warned about this wash out thing.

i just found out that the CB fx remastered set has come out... right now the only place ive seen it is cookiejarvideo.com .... ya thats all i just wanted to inform everyone... cuz this is exciting... ¬_¬

I just got the new "remastered?" eva set today, and I'm wondering if anyone else that has it can tell me if they notice whether or not every time the scene changes the video shakes around. I tried popping it in today as soon as I got it but couldn't watch more than part of the first episode because my eyes were about to pop out. I'm I insane, or is this the way the R1s are?

alex sent me stuff out back at end of august and it still hasn't gotten here. He says something is going on between Canada/US that's taken 15 days for a package from him to NY that's takes a 9 hour drive. that's crazy.

I want to gauge how bad it is and/or wide spread it is.

I've asked my mailman and he says he doesn't know either. 3 weeks is a long time from canada over to the US.

I'm mainly looking for those who live in the US and your order got shipped around late august/early september.

Post where you located too if you don't mine. Oh rough estimate if you ordered before how long it takes.

Fatal Fury Double Impact MA054E, is shown as having the cover for the Fatal Fury movie as opposed to the proper double impact cover. I'm assuming then that the MAC DVD is the movie but has been incorrected titled?

Does the R1 have all the same OPs and ED's as the original japanese version... or is it like what is shown on CN with the op shown as the ED...
