I've been looking forward to this for a long time and I'll probably still get it even though this review points out some major problems.

Hey I've been recently reading the One Piece mangas and so far they kick major ass. Really cool story. But I was wondering if anyone knows if any company is going to come out with a One Piece DVD with english subs and if they are when.

I know there are two MI version of the HKDVD for Karte:

Version 0.5: Blue cover (the one I own)
Version 1.0: Pink cover

What's the difference between both version ???

This title won the acclaim of the critics with Grand Prix at the 2002 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France, one of the most prestigious animation award. I would like to find out what the fuss is about. Some images I found in the web suggest that it could be very good. Definitely a high-budgeted film and the story sounds like something along the line of Miyazaki's stuff.

Since this is relatively a new film, I haven't seen much reviews by fellow anime lovers. Has anyone seen this movie? And does anyone own a copy by Mac?

When I put this particluar disc in my DVD player, right before it gets to menu after Dolby digital logo, the DVD player gets frozen in blank screen. Wasn't sure if the problem was due to disc or player. Therefore, I rented a different copy of the the volume 6 from different video store. The exact same problem happened. Does anyone know what's going on? Were there ever been manufacturing problems with Bandai or is this happening only to me? My current player (KD-1220 by KLH) never had a problem playing any discs before. Besides, the repeating problem with two different discs is really strange.

Just wanted to see if anyone has an MSX (2) or has played any MSX ROMS (I don't use emulators/roms for games I don't own) that are any good. I have about 5 games, the only really good one being Gradius/Nemesis III. Just wanted some suggestions. I have had an MSX2 for a while and it has had very little use, so I wanted something to use it for.

I got really into Miyazaki films when Princess Mononoke was released in America. I've been trying to hunt down english subtitled versions of his movies since then.
