i know this topic has been on about 10 million times already but im just wondering how wide spread the defective disc problem is because im starting to worry that FX havent found a way around it and it may not have been just a mere bad pressing of discs. in my most recent order i recieved 13 disc, 8 of which skip like crazy making large parts of the disc unwatchable.

i want to know:
how often do you recieve dodgy discs?
do the replacement discs always work fine?
and
do you think more recently that the dodgy disc problem has been less regular?

im not out to step on anyones toes here, not JJ nor flora, i just think that we can pass this info on to flora and he can do something about it because its almost fact that FX make the best sets and everyone would rather have theirs but with dodgy discs goin around its startin to give them a bit of a bad name, so as soon as its sorted then everyone will be happy.

Hey everyone...describe where your from. Is it cool? Does it suck like my hometown?

I am from a little dump called Kannapolis North Carolina. I was born in 1981 and nothing has really changed except the biggest company in town shut down (Cannon Mills) and it was a part of Pillow Techs(however it's spelled) and since the 3000 or so people were layed off, jobs are hard to come by. Luckily I found a FedEx job in our major city, Charlotte NC. It's a good drive everyday but for 12 bux an hour it ain't bad at all. I just got a raise and haven't been there but a month. Something to do with cost of living and it was a companywide raise, so EVERYONE but the higher-ups got a raise. That was pretty cool. My best friend Kakoi Sugoi Yama lives in Concord NC which is like 10 minutes from my house. All we do is go to stores and movies because there is JACK to do here. Not that this place sucks, it just gets boring going to Wal-Mart all the time. Some interesting things about this place are that half of the city is named after that retard Dale Earnhardt. They changed a Major road to 3, they built a statue of Dale up the road from the post office, and as far as I can remember this one road has always been called Dale Earnhardt Blvd. 2 roads named after the redneck!!! Thank God for video games to keep me devoid from reality, cuz if I had to even work in the Carolina Mall watching MILLIONS of little poser fake look at me my lifestyle is all about image piece o crap teenagers and mid life crisis 35 year olds all day it would kill me.

Doesnt the mac company's box sets have a outer covering that surrounds the whole thing showing whats inside and then you slide it off and its just a plain mac box holding however many discs? Unlike the fx that features the anime nice and neat through the whole thing? And another thing on this site it says the fruits basket is fx but I orered it and there is no fx logo on the box but animation world international limited...not that is matters just wondering...

So I guess the FX version is out of print...what bothers me is why it would go out of print. From what I see it sold well, and as soon as it was out of stock, quite a few requests popped up for it. Was there some circumstances conspiring?

I have yet to receive a good working copy of this set.
I've tested each one on multiple dvd players with the same results.

About a month before I found this WONDERFUL website, I ordered a couple of VCDs on eBay. The seller was slow to respond and finally told me the thing was backordered, it would take 2 weeks to get in. I just waited and waited and e-mailed them 2 weeks later and they said it had shipped. Yay! Then about a week later it still wasn't here. Normally a package from California takes about 3 days. I finally got my envelope thing DVDs come in. It was in a plastic bag. On the plastic bag was a note from United States Postal Service saying "It 'fell off our truck'." There was a giant tear in it and no DVDs!! I e-mailed the seller and they won't respond (2 e-mails sent, 1 week of waiting for a reply), so I had to file complaints with eBay and PayPal...ARRGH!!! I WANT MY $25.28 BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Buy from here. But if you have to buy from eBay, dont buy from "aplusvcddvd" >_<

My money is piling up, and it's time to buy another box set, or three ^.^
