I see and hear phrases like "bootleg" or "R1-rip" or even "import" when it concerns dvds and I was wondering what it all means (although I do have a fairly good idea...not a total moron,lol) especially when it concerns anime. What should I know and how does any of this information affect any purchases I may wish to make and what should I look for when buying anime dvd??
Any help would be appreciated!!

was wandering what sound track it was that had these songs
uhm dunno this ones name but its the opening song in the first season
and a song that playing during the first season it goes something like P38 .... duhduhduh Walter duhduhduh (dunno this word) and so on...

Hello I'm just curious what most people here think of the piracy websites I have come across that down sites like these and other kinds (like the audio CDs from sonmay and such) I personally think it's funny that some people are so hardcore over it and actually want to spend all that money...I mean why wouldn't you want a nice and neat space saving/money saving box set?? Also it was funny a site saying buy purchasing these kinds of anime you are funding PROSTITUTION AND DRUG SMUGGLEING....So? ha
