in peoples reveiwes they say stuff about dvd rips so are any of the dvds you sell riped or are they all just imports.

I was watching Samurai X Trust/Betrayal OVA and there's this scene when Tomoe sneaks out of the room. She's biting into her hair to keep from screaming. This is during the time when she's already living with Kenshin. Anyway, what is she doing? Is she using her blood to write in her diary? Trying to have a miscarriage? Period problems perhaps? I don't know... For those it's totally obvious to, enlighten me.

While looking at the pictures posted on "Pictures of your anime collection" I noticed those collections were made up mostly of R1's.
Because this is a site dedicated to HK sets and because I see many people here saying they really enjoy HK sets I was a bit surprised. I expected people's collections to be filled with HK sets but that didn't happen.

What I'd like to know is what everybody thinks about R1 and HK sets. Which do you prefer and why?

About 4 months ago I couldn't conceive of buying HK sets mainly because I didn't yet know of ripped sets and had had some bad experiences. But then I found this website and it completely changed my mind. I'm a student so I don't work and most of my money is spent on manga (about $120 a month) which leaves me with little money for anime. That's why HK sets that are R1 rips are perfect for me, they have good subtitles, good presentation and good quality at low prices whereas R1's are much more expensive. Instead of spending $30 on 4 episodes I spend the same amount on 26.

She has stood by me through some pretty tough times and is even holding on to me while I am here in Iraq. I wanted her to visit these boards so she could meet people like you, the Schultz's, Kakoi, Dark, and even Batz... because I consider you all friends. I want her to know all about me. Someone on these board told me a long time ago that I didn't share enough with them. So on that person's advise, I am trying to include my GF in every aspect of my life.

So to all on the boards this is my GF and she is new to the anime scene, but with her sister's help and yours she will be a junkie like us in no time.

Have you guys seen Kino's Journey yet? I bought the first 2 dvds so far and it's looking like it might become another classic. It's really really good and totally unlike any other anime I've ever seen. Definetly check it out if you haven't already!
