  Final Fantasy VII massive project
Posted by: Andromeda18_ - 07-25-2004, 03:09 PM - Forum: Video Gaming - Replies (7)

I just read the following on http://www.the-magicbox.com:

Quote:In the latest issue of V-Jump magazine, Square Enix revealed that besides Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (video) and Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis (mobile phone), there is another massive project surrounding the Final Fantasy VII, which will be revealed soon; and one of the character in the project seems to be Vincent from FFVII, a shadow resembles Vincent was painted on the magazine.

I swear I couldn't be happier! I hope they're making a new game. I'm really glad Vincent's one of the characters. Smile

  Game for the movie buffs!
Posted by: animeshop - 07-25-2004, 10:33 AM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (88)

Ok I was playing this game with my friends (because we had all the time in the world, and are complete movie buff losers Wink)

Basically I mention the name of an actor/actress, then you have to mention another actor/actress that has acted along side them in any movie and mention the movie in brackets e.g

Lailla Posts:
Reese witherspoon -

Jigglypuff-boo posts:
ryan phillipe (cruel intentions)

Rules are no repeats of actors/actresses and try not to cheat by going to google or imdb etc.

So I'll start with an easy one -

Julia Roberts

  Initial D, Mac vs MI
Posted by: Cidien - 07-25-2004, 12:54 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (4)

Can anyone who has the Mac or MI sets let me know how good the subtitles are in them? I've read a few reviews and and not sure which would be better atm. Doubt anyone has seen them both but if you have seen either please post how much you liked them. I want initial D but being a dub-lover i'm pretty picky with subtitles.

Thanks.

Posted by: Cidien - 07-25-2004, 12:36 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (6)

I see Now and then, here and now sells on 3 discs but is only 13 episodes. Can anyone tell me the episode breakdown and the reason why they use three discs? A lot of extras perhaps? Let me know if you have any info. Thanks.

O.K. We have to admit that as anime fans we are super nerdy. But are we the nerdiest?? NO WAY!! Vote and post to see what is the nerdiest hobby. And of course the more of these hobbies you are into the nerdier you are.

  perfect collections
Posted by: Seraphina - 07-24-2004, 01:14 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (97)

I was just curious what the views on perfect collections were. It seems to me that these are the best way to go when ordering anime. I mean who wouldn't want one uniform box that contains a whole series opposed to having numerous singles floating around your house. It saves money, time, and space and I think it is almost always the way to go.

What does everyone else think?

  question about DVD and DVD+R
Posted by: animeshop - 07-24-2004, 07:22 AM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (4)

Ok I just need to understand something here, so if anyone can help, please do so.

What is the main difference between a normal DVD you get from here (imports) and a dvd+R. Assume I have one of each, and they both have the same movie with the same menu's etc, and both have the same image printed on the dvd.

Would there be any other differences?

I bought the Armageddon R2 anime, and watched it last night. And ndid it suck. It has to be one of the worst things ive ever seen. I was like a mini series crammed into 90 mins. U are introduced to a new character 1 min then the next scene there dead. '
