Have you ever seen those people who talk in the third person all the time? Don't you just hate that? I ask because the last message board I was at had some clown who ALWAYS talked in the third person every post!

I was wondering because this site is a anime site. So is anyone really good at games? As in above-average? Mostly beat-um-ups e.g I played Soul calibur 1 for 4 years every day in a row. This poll is for Soul Calibur 1. Please don't lie.

Has anyones anime ever have a few epiosodes missing? Orphen was missin an episode or two. And the second last episode of .Hack.Sigh was missing. (God damn it! It was hard enough to figure out what is happing but with the only eventful episode is missing you just have to say 'Fuber!') In anycase can you tell me of missing epiosode's that have happened to your anime?

Though I?m so sick of hearing about Hammer I could puke, the last thread about him made me think, ?Well, what live action anything would make a good anime?? I can?t imagine anything that could be backwards compatible with anime, and me want to watch it. Can anyone think of something already a form of entertainment that would make a good anime?

Introduction

I had a choice of 4 games. Megaman X Command Mission, Dragonball Z Budoukai 3, Guilty GearX2 Reloded and Metroid Prime 2 (Give me your opionon's on which one is better). I decided to get MMXCM. I got Command Mission about 2 days ago and so far I like it heres my review. (I am going to have spoilers for the other X games).

Graphics= The cell shadeing is a bit weird. The game runs at a weird framerate but it looks very good and the frame rate never goes down (so far anyway). X looks diffrent than he used too. He has knuckles like Eva-01 and the green joints are now black. He also has an energy scarf thing that comes out when you run or dash. Zero still looks the same as he did in X4, 5 and 6. Axl from X7 is somewhere in this game as well but I haven't found him yet. The levels are mostly just indoor levels but at least they don't look the same. Some of the enemy's are from other X games. Overall the graphics are good and unique. 6/10

Game Play= To be honest I hate doing the gameplay for an RPG. it takes so long to explain but here goes...This is the first RPG of the Megaman series (screw MMBN). If you have played Xenosaga it would help to understand how this game works. Normaly you run around in thrid person. You can dash if you like. I thought random battles were lost forever but this game hasn't forgotten. When in a battle a gauge appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen. It shows your and the enemys turn so you will know when the enemy is going to attack. (think Xenosaga). When its one of your teams turn to attack a menu appears X fires your normal weapon, circle and square fire you sub weapons. You can have two diffrent subs weapons on and when you use them they take up WE (weapon enegy). WE is a gauge that goes up every time it's your turn. It goes from 0% to 100%. Each cahracter has a unique abilty that they can use with the Action Trigger. The Action trigger takes up at least 50% of you WE. When you activate Xs trigger a guage appears and you hold down X (the button not the android/repiloid guy) you charge it up to as much as the WE gauge is e.g 50% WE equals 50% power. After letting go of the button X fires many lasers that hits all enemys. Another abilty everyone has is Hyper Mode (think Shinning Gundam). When you activate Hyper Mode the person you used it with changes looks. And all your stats increase. Some other changes take place like X's hyper Mode has a diffrent Action Trigger etc...The main way to heal yourself is to use your Sub Tank. The Sub Tank has a % guage that increses as you progress. You can use items to heal status affects or boost your stats but it isn't nearly as important as it should be. Thats more or less all I can think of. But I know that there are more Hyper Modes because I saw a screen shot of X with some weird looking armour. Overall I would say the gameplay is pertty good. It is also hard but not that hard. And I haven't seen everything yet. 6/10

Music= I am greatly dissapointed by the music :mad: The megaman series is well know for its kick-ass music. (at least for the people who play the game). None of the music is bad but it's just not cool. The best way to describe it would be to look at Ninja Gaiden. The 3 nes games had great music. The Xbox Ninja gaiden has crap music. I liked the Main Theme of MMXCM and I havn't completed the game yet so hopefully there is still some good music hidden somewhere. But it's unlikely. Overall I don't know what went into Capcom's brain. 5/10 :mad:

Story= Well I don't know when this game is set compared to X8 or why X has slighty diffrent armour. And I can't say anything about the game because it would spoil it for you. So i'll just say what I know from other X games. X is an android created by a guy called DR.Light. he was forzen in a capsule and was awakend years later (about 70 or 100 years). A professer called Dr.Cain found X and made androids based off X's brain. (X is the first robot to think.) They were called Repioloids. for some reason some repioliods became Mavricks and started to become crazy attacking humans. The Mavricks Hunters were formed to destroy Mavricks. X joined the Hunters and met Zero the strongest Mavrick Hunter ever. But as it turned out Zero was once a Mavrick and another Hunter called Sigma fought him. Sigma and Zero have a fight but in the end Sigma lost (and by lost I mean he was man-handled LOL!) Then Zeros Crystal lit up with a W symbol. He got a headache and Sigma punched him in the forehead. When Zero woke up he was no longer a Mavrick. One day Sigma became a Mavrick. X and Zero found Sigmas base and attacked it. X is attacked by a Mavrick called Vile (actually I think he is a bounty hunter not a Mavrick. Whatever). Vile in his battle armoured suit uses a weapon that pulls X to the ground. Zero jumps onto Vile and self-destructs. Destroying the battle armour but not Vile. X kill's Vile and then kill Sigma. Blah Blah Blah! I am just too bored with this review to keep talking about stuff that doesn't even happen and might not even have happened in this game. Overall the story is good as is the other X games (if you merge them all together) 6/10

Closing= This game is an average game that you should buy. It's not the best X game but it is a good RPG. Also you can find a playable demo of Megaman X8 (it's baically just after the first level. If you can't find it you suck!). I have the PS2 version but the Gamecube is suposed to be better (or so I have heared).

Extra stuff= You can find a playble MMX8 demo. It's okay but I perfer X4.

Total Overall score 6/10 At least rent it to see if you like it.

I realized that I had created a sort of ritual everytime I get a new order of HK dvds. I sit down, look at each disc carefully under light, and then pop it in and make sure it loads properly (I eject it and retry it about 3 times to make sure) and then I fast scan through the whole disc because that usually can find any skips or messy spots. Does anyone else have an 'error checking ritual' that they do when they get a new batch of HK anime dvds?

How do the rest of you check your dvd's for playability issues?
