bored and waiting for my flight |

I am simultaneously bored by waiting for my flight out of Halifax and amused that I have free wireless access to keep me entertained while I'm waiting. This is only my third flight of my life and the first time without my parents.
I've been working here since Wednesday and only had enough time for 8 hours of sleep total. Getting home to Reb and Katina is at the top of my list now.
Great... they just announced that my flight has been delayed thirty minutes... at least I'm getting paid for this...
Gonna log off and stretch my legs for a bit.

Well its Spring Break now and as I don't have to study for late midterms and whatnot, well
I guess I'll be here till tues the 29th. Then its probably all going to be studying for
finals  . So hi again for now. To celebrate heres the first set of lyrics to Can't touch
this by M.C. Hammer.
My My Music Hits me so hard
Makes me say oh my Lord
Thank you for blessing me
With a mind to rhyme and two hyped feet
Its good to know your down
A Superdope homeboy from the Oaktown
And I know as such,
This is a beat, uh you can't touch.
I told you homeboy,
Can't touch this.
*starts singing along with song and Hammerdancing*

OK - clearing out a few old HK sets and looking to trade rather than sell.
Some hard to find sets here, including a couple of early Fx ones.
All are subbed only unless stated otherwise and all viewed but in excellent condition.
Here's the list:
HK
El Hazard - Alternative World (Eng Dub) MAC 3 discs
Macross Plus (AC/MI) 2 disc
Initial D part 1 (AC/MI) 3 disc
Hand Maid May (AC/MI) 3 disc
Macross - Do You Remember Love (Fx) 1 disc
Weiss Kreuz OVA (Fx) 1 disc
Noir (AC/MI) part 1&2 (3 disc/2 disc)
Gundam Evolve (? SKU is ED9005) 1 disc
Fruits Basket (AC/MI) part 1&2 (2 disc/2 disc)
Angel's Egg (Mac) 1 disc
R1
Project A-Ko (2 disc remastered Collectors Series with soundtrack CD)
Dragonball Z - Androids Invincible (eps 121-124)
Looking for generally open to offers - specifics include:
King of Bandits Jing (Fx 2 disc)
Any One Piece Part 1
Ranma ½ Movies Perfect Collection (Fx 1 disc)
And possibly the Fx Fushigi Yuugi or Tenchi Box Sets if anyone's up for a big trade!
But generally looking to trade these for some new anime so will consider all offers. Let me know if there's anything on my list that you're interested in.
I'd aim to exchange 1 for 1 disc but can be flexible.
I have sucessfully traded with some members of this messageboard (most recently HarukaTenoh11 and gubi-gubi).
I'm in the UK by the way, but happy to trade internationally.
PM me or post a message if interested.

Anyone else pick up this amazing little gem?
It's only $30, as the localization costs were minimal due to the Japanese version already having English text.
For us X-Box owning anime fans, this game is a dream come true... it makes me think of something between X and sCRYed while playing.
300 abilities to learn/collect.. an additional 40 only obtainable on XBox Live... and 4 player online.

thought some of you would like to hear some news about your favorite company. They must be doing so well
---------------
Publisher's Weekly has confirmed news about layoffs at AD Vision. According to Publishers Weekly, as many as 40 people have been laid off, with "perhaps" 25 from the manga division. ADV declined to give details, but confirmed that the layoffs happened.
With the anime and manga markets reaching the saturation point, ADV has adjusted its release schedule to slow down the number of products they put to market. In 2005, ADV will release about 50 manga titles, down from 80 in 2004, and they will focus on titles for which they own both the anime and the manga license.
---------------
So what happens when comapnies start slowing down and start getting rid of people....

ADV Consolidates Studios
ADV Films has closed their Monster Island dubbing studio and consolidated their recording projects under one studio name, "ADV Studios." ADV previously had two distinct recording studios, Monster Island in Ft, Worth and Industrial Smoke and Mirrors in Houston, employing as many as 12 or more ADR directors between them
