Hey everybody. I'm new here so I thought I'd post and say hello. Also, I'm looking for some good animes that are up my alley. I'll give you an idea of what I like so far and what I'm looking at. If you have suggestions just let me know.

I'm a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop (I know, I know, who isn't?). I've also watched and thoroughly enjoyed Trigun, Witch Hunter Robin, Chobits, Hellsing, Samurai Champloo, Neon Genesis: Evangelion, RahXephon, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (there's probably another one, but if there is I can't think of it right now).

I saw half of the first episode of Excel Saga and hated it.

As you can probably tell from what I do like, I'm into more of the sci-fi type stuff. I also tend to lean more towards stuff that looks similar to those listed above (i.e. more realistic looking as opposed to the big eyes and cutesy miniaturizations). I'm probably catch flak, but I can't watch anything where the main character talks in one of those high-pitched, I'm-on-coffee-and-speed-at-the-same-time voices. I'm not sure how much of an issue this is with the original Japanese because I usually watch dubbed animes (you don't have to give me the lecture about subbed being the best way to watch, I've already had it :p ).

Anyway, I've heard that Texhnolyze is good, as is Wolf's Rain. I'm getting some Outlaw Star because I've heard that is pretty good and I thought I should give it a try. In looking around I've come across Space Battleship Yamato and I think it looks interesting. And though it doesn't sound very techy I'm getting some Haibane Renmei 'cause it sounds interesting, too.

In any case, if you happen to know of something I'd like, let me know and I'll look into it. Give me some background on what it's about.

While checking my Chinatown yesterday, I found a anime which I never heard of. Can anyone tell me if they watched '' Dust Diamond Drop ''?. I tried to read the backcover of it but I had difficulty reading the hard Kanji. Any help would be appreciate

Now that its pretty much fact that the x-box next will not be backwards compatible and that you will have to pay extra for a system with a hard drive ( there will be multiple configurations) is it really worth it? I will keep my xbox, man there are still some great games scheduled for the xbox before game production ceases totally but is the next system worth it, computers have the option of upgrade which is easy and since new tech comes out about every six months it will never get old but do you really want to have to buy totally new hardware every 5 or 6 years and in this case still have to keep your old system if you want to keep playing the games you already have. Nintendo is making the revolution backwards compatible, why shouldn't m$ do the same. So does anyone else feel the same or what?

l was wondering whether you could take the time to score my tee design for me. Its my first attempt, and hopefully you guys and gals will like it.

Also l be adding/changing the color tee to grey and the graphic in blue. The orignal was more detailed but since the rules were strict on what or could not be submitted some alterations had to be made.

Well today I got this set and was looking forward to watching it however, in disc one I have found two spots already that "freeze up" which occurs once in the first episode as well as the beginning of the 2nd episode. I was wondering does anyone else who own this set have the same problem?

I noticed on some other forums that when designing the shirts, they would hold a contest on the site to see who can design the best. Since the original design wasn't really too popular, perhaps this would be a good idea? This is of course, if the desire for the shirts are still there.

Anyone know of a setting or a program that will shut windows down automatically at a certain time or after a set amount of time? Reason I ask is my parents are being jerks and won't let me download anymore overnight cuz they're too lazy to spend one minute to come into my room at turn it off so they can use the internet in the morning. :mad: Lazy parents.

To be more percise what is the differnce between the big green "M" and all of the other HK companies out there. (I forgot the name of the company, sorry :o )
