been having alot of problem with Mac stuff recently , and across the boards Ther is alot of agreement on this issue. I recently bought some MI titles ( threw 695anime -) - and their quality is for the most part is unbelieveable ( very good ) I know they cost more to buy originally-- but when you place a larger order their prices drop threw the floor - this might seem like a major investment- but it may help your company get over this FX scare thats happening-- and I dont mind paying more to get better quality--I love dealing with you guys because you stand behind what you sell better than any other company that Ive ever delt with-as well as being nice people, but recently your selection has alot to be desired ( to many older titles - or ones of no interest ) not trying to stick my nose into your business philosophy but I like your company alot , and recently have been unhappy with the selections and the problems your having getting good stuff . thanks for taking the time with me ---

This might seem like a stupid question But I bought 4 different titles from 695anime and i cant figure out who made them . Im guessing MI , but Im not positive -- They seem to play very good with little or no pixilation -- which I dont see on alot of my Mac stuff- which surprises me so I dont think their Mac or FX ? .. These are the titles with the numbers fom the front bottom of the cases -- By the way Im very happy with them, and they seem better quality than Im use to with HK stuff - Im kinda guessing on the MI brand , but Ive heard the subs usually arnt the best , and the subs on Tokyo Godfathers suck ! ( thou i still like the video quality )

Does anyone know anything about the Zeta Gundam English dubbed set that was supposedly "in the works" the last time I heard? I'm wondering where it is, when it'll be out if it isn't already, and also if MAC has a web site and what the address is if they do. Thanks!

I'm wondering how much interest there is here about Victory Gundam and if anyone else would like to see it come to North America dubbed in English. I know that before Zeta came out there were petitions and stuff compiled and was just curious to see if anyone thought that trying that again could have any potential. So, anyone want to touch on this?

Has anyone else seen Sin city, I just saw it yesterday. Man that is one awesome movie, I dont know if anyone else has read the books but the movie is literaly a frame for frame word for word transfer. The cg and style of the movie is down right amazing. As long as you dont mind characters talking to themselves as they do in comics then youll love this movie. But it is very dark and gritty, not a movie for the less mature like those under 17. Some argue that age makes no difference, but anyone over 18 knows it truly does. Back on topic everyone go see this movie it is one definitely to see in the theater. Oh and see if you can spot Frank Millers cameo ( the creator).

Just when we had Best Buy figured out for their pricing schemes, they (at least the store where I was today) took at least half-off their old prices for some anime titles.

These, by the way, are current, first-run titles of series still being released -- not special collections or reissues.

And, in some cases, some titles are from companies where you expect to pay alot for their titles.

Examples include:

Popotan (Geneon) -- vol. 1: now $12.99; vol. 2 now $14.99 (orig. $24.99 each)

Gungrave (Geneon, I think) -- now $14.99

Super Marionette (?) (Anime Works) -- now $5.99

ROD TV (Geneon) -- some DVDs $14.99 each

Azumanga Daioh vol. 3 (ADV) -- $9.99

Now's the good time to stock up before Best Buy changes their mind.

Of course, not all drastic price changes like these are for the best -- I saw a Hellsing DVD on sale for $123.99. Just one DVD in a standard case.

Does anyone know the differences between the DBZ by Manga International and the DBZ by AC-MAC?
