The mysterious Harvest is still on while the misplaced crew of mostly cute girls and some male castaways tries to get back to their home planet in order to warn their people of the impending doom. Vandread Second Stage takes place almost immediately after the first series. It carries on the tradition of men and women living together on a "lost" ship when the two sexes had previously lived on segregated planets since birth. Kookiness ensues. VSS is a rare occurence in anime. It's a sequel that's more fun and better written than its predecessor. If you liked the first season, pick this one up too!<br />
