I haven't seen the first stage so wasn't exactly clear on what was going on. The show did mention enough about the plot to give me a general idea though. The mechs and ships wee all cheap CGI. They moved around the screen so quickly that you never get a real good look at them. The video quality was ok. The opening sequence was very hard to see since it was all red. I couldn't make out what was going on. Of course the entire disc was not like this. The rest is fine. 3-4 The audio was fine. I saw this w/out the speakers on. Just listening off the TV speakers was enough since there were no spectacular sound effects. Not sure how it would sound with the speakers on. The subs were good 4-4.5. English was very good with a few typos here and there. The name of the main character changed a few times.
