Rosette and Chrno goes to San Francisco to search for Joshua. Meanwhile, Dufore a demon from the dark world and his legion offers their services to the Magdalan foundation in order to stop Aion in his evil conquest. They accepted much to the displeased Satella because her family and all the witch of jewels were slaughtered by demons. One day, Dufore tells Rosette that she was the chosen one of Mary Magdalena to bring peace to this world and a symbol should appear on her body soon. Then it happens, a couple of bloody crest appears on Rosette wrists and feets. During a carnival, Aion gets a hold of Asmaria and begins a ceremonial with all 7 apostles (including Joshua also) then Rosette awakens and beomes the savior of the people. Immediatly, Aion possesses her heart and wish to unite heaven and earth together by getting rid of all the useless people of the land. Will Chrno, Dufore and Satella save Rosette and destroys Aion before it\'s too late ???
