Yuuichi Aizawa, a young man in his mid-teens, moves back to his hometown after seven years of travelling from country to country with his parents, as part of their job. Back in town, he lives with his aunt, uncle, and his insomniac cousin, Nayuki. While he was busy travelling with his globetrotting parents, his memories of his hometown faded away. But, once he returned, his memories of his hometown, oddly all involving girls, slowly came back to him. And it all started with a girl named Ayu, a girl with a bad habit of stealing taiyaki (fish-shaped pastries with various fillings).
