Conan is walking with the Young Detective Gang when he sees a man in a phone booth shot by another man in a trenchcoat. This is only the beginning, however, for when Ran is with Conan and her family at a party, an assasination occurs in the bathroom to a lady (Satokishi?) she was with. Ran witnessed the murderer\'s face, and he promptly tried to kill her. He however missed yet didn\'t realize it. Ran then goes into shock from the murderer, and loses her memory. Meanwhile, the murderer is doing all he can to kill Ran before she remembers his face. Meanwhile, Conan is doing all he can to protect Ran, and figure out who the killer is. Everywhere Ran is, she is in danger, so it\'s up to Conan and the gang to save her.
