This is a high quality DVD video here, with bold colors and very solid lines. The only pixelation I saw was very VERY little at was only at the very beginning. That's IT.

This movie was AWESOME! I'd seen 3 other Conan movies, and none even compare. AT ALL! But first... Packaging The cover is from the R2's with plenty of added text. It was pretty nice, and it was nice. Menu Not motion. It's a screenshot with a picture of conan put over it. The scene select (only 3 chapter points for this over an hour film) did have motion movies but that's it. It had another menu, which is 3 pages long that I assume talks about the movie, but that's in only Chinese. There is no subtitle menu. ----------------------- Story: Conan is walking with the Young Detective Gang when he sees a man in a phone booth shot by another man in a trenchcoat. This is only the beginning, however, for when Ran is with Conan and her family at a party, an assasination occurs in the bathroom to a lady (Satokishi?) she was with. Ran witnessed the murderer's face, and he promptly tried to kill her. He however missed yet didn't realize it. Ran then goes into shock from the murderer, and loses her memory. Meanwhile, the murderer is doing all he can to kill Ran before she remembers his face. Meanwhile, Conan is doing all he can to protect Ran, and figure out who the killer is. Everywhere Ran is, she is in danger, so it's up to Conan and the gang to save her. ----- The movie was AWESOME. Truly great. I LOVED it, and I can't understand more then 5 words of Japanese, and 0 Chinese! Without being able to hear everything, I knew what happened. This was a great movie, and even though you might not be able to understand it, you should get it. ------- Strangely enough, there were some extras. When you play the movie, it will first show a trailer of the movie, which is a very good one. (unsubbed... even though if it was subbed it'd be in Chinese). Then following the feature, is a preview for another movie or something, or the next episode (couldn't tell), and then there was a very funny commercial for the Month Manga collection Conan appears in (like Shonen Jump, Ultra Jump, etc.). It was pretty cool. MI's name nor logo appears nowhere on this DVD. On the case, is says "Shokugan Video" or something like that, and when you play the movie it shows a rather fruity video logo which eventually makes the words Shokugan Video again. I could tell this was from MI though by the email addresses on the disc. I was dissapointed at no english subtitles, but dang... this movie was still great. ------------ On a seperate note: Did anyone else read my review of the Conan TV special ( the 4th one I think) ? Well, I discovered that everything but the film is taken from this movie. The menu of the special if from a picture after all the commercials at the end, and the cover of the Special is from screenshots of this movie. And "Need not to Know" appears on the special cover, when that is clearly from this movie. Just to let you know, look's like MI couldn't find anything for the special that's actually from that movie.
