First Ticket. Damn.

During the school year, I drive 4 of the 12 months. 3 months of summer, and maybe during the winter, if I have enough money to unfreeze my insurance for the month. Plus I also drive a manual, so I'm always rusty after extended periods of NON-driving. :p

That story with the tire iron is hilarious. I drove for the entier year even when I was suspended. Funny thing is that I got pulled over like 3 days after I got my license back. And I got pulled over for no reason other then the guy thought I was driving erratic (meaning he didn't think I belonged in the neighborhood). Of course I didn't get ticketed for that.

I race all the time. I've gotten better now than I used to be. I remember when I 1st bought my used Lexus a year ago, I wanted to test out how fast it was, so I raced my friend in his all wheel drive turbo Eclipse. We both slowed down once we noticed we hit 130. He was like a 1/2 car length ahead in case you guys wanted to know which was faster. I'm like Takumi (minus the drifting skills of course) when I get behind the wheel because I hate to lose. But I've never gotten caught while racing. I had a friend of mine get caught doing like 140 and he had to serve 2 weeks in the county jail for it.

I speed all the time, and only have gotten one ticket. The ticket I got was messed up though..it was during a speed trap. I was pulled over along with like 2 other people around this bend in a neighborhood. Who the hell in the right mind goes 19 MPH along a straitaway...and what the fuck is up with the abnormal number MPH...it doesn't get my attention anymore then regular signs. The straightaway was a good 500 or so yards before the bend...give me a break. Nonetheless I got slapped a 200 or so fine and 4 points for speeding. I had my points halved and the fine halved by the judge...shoulda took it to the guy at my school..he has a way of dropping fines and points, but I didn't know him that well so I didn't bother. It was a stupid fine...I haven't gotten one on the highway yet..so I'm knocking on wood with this post ^_^.

I make regular use of services like Pointts and Ex-Copper which are people that know the traffic violation system so well that they will fight your tickets for you (if you pay them).
The funny thing is that they usually get my tickets reduced enough to cover their fees so I end up paying as much up front as I would have if I had just paid my ticket to begin with. The real bonus comes in the insurance savings though. They usually get rid of the points associated with my offence or at least get them reduced.
This is how I can still afford insurance on my Neon and my Legacy (wish it were a WRX).

And that bottle rocket fight happened a long time ago.

mine was last august and it was the shittiest day of my life. My cd player in my car got stolen and i was freaking out and didn't notice the time and realized if i didn't hurry i would be late for work. Then i proceeded to drive 21 MPH over the speed limit to work and got caught. I even told the officer my cd player got stolen that morning so if that officer had any sympathy at all he would've let me go but NNNNNNNOOOOOOO, that motherfucker had to make my day and give me that ticket. I speed all the time though and never get caught but damn, that one day just.......sucked.

You gave an excuse?? And then wanted sympathy for it from the cop?? What are you, a girl? Men don't give excuses or expect sympathy when it comes to cops. That shit doesn't work for us. If a guy sat there and started crying like girls do, I think the cop would slap you with another ticket for being a little bitch. I don't tell them shit. I'm like "I was running late and didn't notice how fast I was going. Here's my license and registration". And then I just sit there until they come back and have me sign the ticket.

What the fuck ? All i told the officer was that my cd player got stolen because he was looking at the empty dashboard!!! I didn't say, "Officer, oh my god, i am totally having the worst day EVAR !!!" No, that's not being a chick, maybe if another officer pulled me over he/she would've let me go. I'm all about not paying $200 for a ticket and having my insurance going up.

It might be, but I honestly think it's true. I sure as hell ain't gonna test it. I mean if I was a cop and some guy started whining, I'd try and find any excuse to give him more tickets. I always learned to admit my mistake and take my medicine like a man.

well, the cop looked at my dashboard kinda suspiciously like "did-you-just-jack-this-car" type of look at me. I just told him the truth.

Okay, this gonna sound really wierd, but I've been "pulled" over while walking. When I can't sleep I like to go for walks, so this one night I go walking on my regular route and this cop pulls infront of me and asks what I'm doing. Granted it was around midnight on a Saturday and I was walking around the streets of a town. He proceeded to ask me questions... He asked me like 20 times if I was beening chased, or if i was in danger. (Why yes officer, I'm walking really fast to escape the evil man behind me.) Please, but he threatened to call my parents and then asked me their names. Heh I never thought my mothers maiden name would come in so handyBig Grin I think I was pretty smooth that night.

It might have been because you were probably breaking curfew.

hehehe. Lonely walks the night. LOL.

I had a cop stop me one day while walking. I was in Work Co-op. It is a program where you get out of school early to go to work. You earn a credit for it. Anyway I was walking home from school and a cop stopped me and harrassed me, asked where I was going, and what I was doing out of school. Then he tried to get me in the car. I told him I was going home, and not with him. He got pissed off and headed back towards the school.
