I think people know how strange I am.
This thread also reminded me that we haven't spoken of Midget Bukkake in a while.

It is really amazing at how the creators are trying to make for anime that favors women. I just wish a series like Angelic Layer would make it on Toonami... it would at least be an attempt at bring more women into the main stream...
As for the ugly anime geeks yea it sucks but every group has them... we just seem to have more...

The term "Bukkake" comes from the combination of the words "Butsu"-to hit, and "Kakeru"-to splash (one of its many definitions). So basically you combine them to get "Bukkakeru"-to hit and splash. It then turned into the noun "Bukkake". The word "Butsu" implies force. So "Bukkake" would mean to: Forcefully expel a fluid. So I'm sure you guys can figure out where the sexual meaning comes from.

The guys have kinda been slacking since you've been away. They haven't scared me off yet, but that's because I don't scare so easily.

In my experience, girls don't like anime just because they don't. It's not their "flavor" or something along those lines. It's not that they are afraid of being called nerds (who is gonna call a good-looking girl a nerd?) it's just that they don't like anime for some reason. Maybe it's the plots or the fact that it's animated or whatever, but in general it just doesn't seem to interest them. Now, of course, there are always exceptions, but unfortunately I haven't found one.
To me, anime is kinda like football or video games or explosions, it's just something guys tend to enjoy more than girls.

I hate getting stared at every time I go into the Anime section. I hate when the "Havn't showered in a week, I smell like butt and there is a cute girl in the anime section" guy shows up. They try to impress you with their knowledge of anime (which I might add, is often limited to Record of Loddoss Wars) . They try to impress, but fall flat on their faces when they are corrected. I just want to browse anime in peace. Maybe this is a part of the problem.

I get that also...however, I'm not a girl...and the last time was just some Black Guy reccomending I watch Record of Lodoss war...Ok, maybe I don't get that, but I've been approached by people in the anime section before.

I've come to the conclusion that the people who know anything about Anime, look just like normal people. You never really know who they are.
Take Schultz for example, you wouldn't know him from the average joe...until you see his collection or catch him on a day he when he is wearing his Kenshin, Noir or DBZ T-Shirt.
It's these mutants that have little knowledge and like to "approach" people. They like to try and "convert" people to Anime. Kinda like the Amway people are with Laundey Soap, but weirder...and smelly.
