I'm gonna get paid in a week or so for working at a firework stand, and I plan to binge on anime. I have been wanting to purchase Boys Be for a while. But the FX, and the MS (i believe), titles arent there any more. Any news when those will be put up again so i can set some cash aside. Oh and is the MAC version of Gundam Wing any good?

I can't wait to recieve this!! I ordered it of Discount Anime. Should be here the 6 of Janurary I downloaded the first episode of this show and it was hilarious! Funny, cute, it's one of those animes that I can pop in after a rough day of school and just kick back and laugh.
Animeniacs had a review of the first disc, and the quality is great, so I have no worries there. I'll put a review up for each disc as I watch them.
Anyone else getting this set or seen the show and loved it?

If you could be any one person from any anime, who would it be?
I personally, would be Guy Daigoji from Nadesico. Although he was only in the first 3 episodes, he is the one character in an anime that is just like me. Plus he pilots an Estivalis! What could be more cool than that? If you haven't seen Martian Successor Nadesico, you should pick it up. It's a great series! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

According to a few retailers that I know, they seem to think that they will be recieving HK rips of the first volume of Macross Zero in about ten days time. Thing i'm curious about is who is authoring it (MI,AV or FX?) and more importantly if Joe has any info about when he'll be carrying it.

Also it appears that some rips are already being sold through Ebay, with no kind of authoring marks on them. Intrestingly enough, one prominent seller of these Macross Zero rips is Florachan, which makes me think that an FX release will be forthcoming.

Any one got any insights on this one?

Well guys, I just bought the proper R1 End of Evangelion, it was the first time I'd watched it, and when nearing the end, was comfortably reassured that I still had the Death and Rebirth DVD to make my way through, and that this wasn't REALLY the ending after all (Since Death and Rebirth is the "movie")

but no.
Da me!

I discovered that Death is actually a remix of clips from the series... and Rebirth was an exact copy of less than half of the movie I had just finished watching!! :x Am I the only person who was disappointed? Seemingly Gainax had just set their editors to work on Death and Rebirth and nothing more, there was seemingly nothing extra added...

And also, the End of Evangelion R1 has a bonus dvd... the entire movie all over again with points where you can stop and open up a text dialogue to see an explanation about the point where you stopped, it also has an interview with the ENGLISH Ayanami Rei.... no Japanese audio in sight, which makes the "bonus" dvd a massive disappointment, as the English dub cannot compare to the sheer emotion of the original Japanese. :?

Makes me wish I had of bought the HKDVD, I would have got the same content I actually wanted, at half the price.

Wonders if someone can tie some loose ends about the actual End of Evangelion Ending for him :roll:

Well the whole Animation Video set is out on animeniacs.com... but the few reviews I've read have been pretty vague. I think I'm in love with this series and I've only seen up to episode 8 in fansubs... I would hate to have bad subs ruin it.
On a sidenote AC/MI seems to have episodes 1-14 out, I saw it at www.animelib.com and the screenshots looked like the subs were top notch. Wonder when the rest of the episodes are gonna get released... I think Part 1 has been up there for a couple months...
