Could anyone tell me if this anime dvd have those ugly green infos incrusted on the video, that can be seen on newest MI releases ?

The green infos incrusted i'm talking about can be seen on this screenshot of Rurouni Kenshin - Seisouhen.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!, I just lent out my macross saga to a friend and his little sister scratched it up pretty badly. I like to keep my anime discs in perfect condition and this really makes me mad :evil: :evil: :evil:

Butterfly 9/21/02

This isint me.
What am I turning into?
All I know is I'm not turning into you.

I watch as I run past myself.
I try to catch a butterfly but I just fall.
I cry because I'm bleeding.

I look up with teary eyes.
I see the butterfly fluttering above me again.

Yeah, after the con ends sunday night my evening is free.. I do have to get up halfway early in the morning to catch a flight and may see if I can bum a ride to the airport from one of you.. But anyway, I'd like to go out for a halfway nice dinner sunday night.. I was thinking Bangkok Blue, an excellent Thai restaurant.. Casual dress, of course, but no costumes if at all possible. It usually wins best thai in boston every year. It's not exactly super expensive, but it's not cheap either. Count on $20-$25 per person or so, I'd say. Anyway, if anyone is up for it, let me know. if we get more than 4 or so I'll see what I can do about reservations.

Either Saturday or Sunday morning I'll be heading out to China Pearl in Chinatown for some good Dim Sum action. Depending on how many others would like to go I may attempt to make reservations.

I'm gonna try to explain Dim Sum for those who have yet to try it. China Pearl is a large restaurant which seats several hundred patrons.. It's 2 floors and has large tables and wide aisles.. Guests sit together at tables that seat close to 10 people each, and servers push large metal carts through the aisles, stopping at each table.. On the carts are various Dim Sum, or "tiny treasures".

Dim sum consists of small portions of all sorts of food, like little appetizer plates.. The larger the party, the better it is, as you're able to order multiple items and try a bit of everything. Main dishes inclue barbequed pork ribs all cut up into tiny pieces, various meats like beef, chicken, and shrimp in dumplings or wrapped in rice noodles, spring rolls.. Buns with sweet red or yellow bean paste or barbequed pork inside.. Asian greens, grilled fish.. Hell, there's even chicken feet for the adventurous diner. Desserts include some warm tofu thing I haven't tried and delicious melon or mango jello. Yum!

The servers will stamp the party's card for everything they order.. at the end the bill is totalled up by the waiter and you go up to the register to pay.. It's usually a pretty cheap meal depending on what you order. Lots of seafood and the sticky rice that only the americans seem to order can make it expensive.

So anyway, yeah. If anyone would like to Dim Sum with me, just let me know. I'll prolly be going on whatever morning doesn't have anime showings that I need to see.

Actually I saw a 3rd volume somewhere and I waswondering if I was mistaken. I would love for there to be a continuation of this series, I just dont want to get my hopes too high. Can anyone please tell me if they know anything about this.

I was bored and I just wanted to know what everyones favorite anime tune is. I would have to say Green Bird from Cowboy Bebop episode 05, when he crashes through the chapel widow and has a flashback from his past days of being in the mafia. I was humming it for weeks and I even learned how to play it on the piano.

I'm not saying it's anyone on this board because it's not. As you may know the original Mobile Suit Gundam DVD release in America is dubbed only. Many people state one of the following: "Sunrise doesn't want America to have the Japanese voices, those bastards" or "Bandai only caters to the dub loving fuckers who watch CN only". This isn't true. Sunrise felt it was necessary to touch up the series for it's American release, seeing as the show is outdated (1979). They put some CG in it and took out an "unimportant" episode. Whe they altered the show for the new graphics, the Japanese voices no longer matched the movements on screen. They didn't want to redo the Japanese voice acting nor release it as it was. So Bandai working with what they had released it dubbed only. This is the only way to see it in the US unless you buy the HK.
