I was wondering if anyone has seen this series and if it's worth buying. Also, does it have some comedy in it? I was wondering because rightstuf has a special this week where you buy all 6 R1 DVD's for $60. Sweet deal if it's a decent show.

Does anyone know of any anime dealers that offer the Ranma 1/2 Complete Series collection by the box, rather than the whole set? These are the entire 161-episode series spread out in any of these formats:

18 discs in 3 boxes
or
22 discs in 4 boxes

The reason being is that I already own the first 3 seasons of Ranma (the R1s, which were a steal at $40 to $50, when I bought them used).

I think it's possible, as I recently bought box 3 (of 4) of the collection, which includes episodes 91 to 135, on eBay. That dealer only had box 3 available; the only other place that I know of that sold the boxes separately ( http://www.edvdstore.com/ ), only had box 3 available at the present.

I'm interested in these sets, as I'm interested in seeing season 5 (Martial mayhem), before Viz makes their set available in June (I think). Also, I'm interested in seeing how the series ends. And finally, I would like to see the series in an unfiltered version (which I think is the case for seasons 5 and, at least, the second half of season 7) -- Japanese credits and all.

Damn... these guys are really on top of their game... they usually struggled badly in playoffs but this first round was pretty fast.... aside from slow start with game 1 loss (hang over from "end of reg season bash?")

I just saw the review that was posted and I have a question for the reviewer or someone else who has it. The reviewer talks about a lot of missing subs in the 2nd sub stream. I would like to know if this was based on watching with English audio that a lot of lines were missing or with watching the Japanese audio? I'm hoping the first cause that would probably just mean a mistake from the reviewer and not the set (Hey I can dream can't I :p) , because there is a lot of extra dialog on the English track where on the Japanese track there are just silences, thus explaining the 'missing' subs.

I can handle switching over to English dub when watching Escaflowne when I feel I'm missing too much due to the lacking of subs, but with DBZ I'd rather be tortured like on 24 then listen to the dub.

One of the coolest action animes in existence and there isn't even a decent HK DVD for it? It's sacrilege I tell you!

I guess one of the big HK companies will come out with one sooner or later, but does anybody have any kind of info on this elusive, yet impeccably cool title?

Hey everyone. I've been reallt shitty lately. Sick as Hell. I thought it was a sinus infection or a really bad cough, but it turns out it was worst. I finally jsut went ot the emergency health clinic in town to get checked up, and the Doc told me that I have TB.
Though I am VERY lucky, hes says, that we caught it so early. My lungs haven't begun to deteiate yet, which is lucky. All I have to do is take some meds, come in for regular check ups, and quit the night life. Meaning no smoking or drinking, which I loves to do
Anyways, the main reason I'm posting this is for people I'm trading with. I'm nt going to be coming on the often. I usually come to the site once a day at least to check on trades and stuff. So, just to let anyone, I'm putting everything on hold till I get better. RM me if you like regarding trades or anything, but keep in mind I won't be able to respond.
