  Bust-A-Groove 2
Posted by: GTR_Ripper - 06-22-2003, 08:36 PM - Forum: Video Gaming - Replies (2)

Yep the sequel to the dancing game Bust-A-Groove. Very good game, it was only released in japan, but I was able to get my hands on it cause I have a chiped PS, and I bought it bootleg from some guy at a flea market. So how many of you have played this game, and liked it? I myself enjoy this game, and still play it when i want to hear cool japanese songs.

What's your favorite fast food place?
Posted by: Shibo - 06-22-2003, 07:06 AM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (18)

Mine's a local joint. It's called Sapporo Beef Bowl. I'm kinda trying to eat healthy and this place not only kicks ass but it's normally not all that bad for you. Their specialty is bowls full of rice, with grilled chicken, very thinly sliced beef, or tofu, plus an option of veggies or no veggies.. It's topped with a really good curry sauce or a really good teriyaki type sauce. Yum! They have this neat bottled beverage from Korea called Aloe Green that I like to get with my food. I have a take-out menu for the place right next to my computer. I decided that I would try every single item on the menu and rate it. Wink They have 17 main dishes, of which I've tried 13, and 9 other assorted side items, which I've tried 4 of. Wink They also have a crazy card, so after you've ordered your 10th bowl you get one free. I'm on my second card now. We go at work a lot so I get stamps when my coworkers eat there too. Wink What's your favorite fast food joint?

  Good News: I'm Leaving
Posted by: Batz Kage - 06-21-2003, 10:53 PM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (5)

Yeah, now the bad news is I'll be back, I might not be on Monday, & just incase I was going to tell you guys yall can start celebrating. Tongue (I'm expecting the first respose to be Steve, OpOx, Vicious, or Lonely Monkey saying it's to bad I'm coming back.)
I know I'm not the most liked guy around here, I get a lot of threads locked and all, but I'm trying. I ramble just as much if not more in rel life than on here. Which like I've said is why I try to stay out of AD. Once I hit a topic I'll pick it up & run with it, & what may start as kittens, may end up on midgit porn, which isn't to hard to believe, I like short people, not really midgits, & technically midgets would rememind me of short people, (not kids) which I think are normally cute, & so are kittens, so I guess it's not to hard to believe that would happen.

Above is an example of how bad my rambling is... But, starting Monday I probably won't be around till next Friday, which means holefully I can do that job for my dad tomarrow, get a tan, & a hair cut al in the same day. Plus I have to find out about placing an order for dvds, yep my friends finally decided what to get, I just have to get the money together. We're hopefully getting Kenshin 10 disc perfect collection, the movie containing his past, & DBZ movie set. To bad I don't get to get me a love movie this order, so I'll have to get two next order or something.

And as for me posting all my personal junk on the forum, like I've said before I like you guys (& gals), & I like your advice on anime & real life issues, & would like to hear about what yall think, & seeing how I'm the youngest, or second youngest here I think there's alot I can learn from yall.

Anywho, I'll be going now, Peace Out til next time.

  Hulk movie
Posted by: Berserker - 06-21-2003, 07:34 PM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (23)

Who has seen the hulk movie? I was just curious to hear your opinion of it. I haven't seen it myself, but I probably will next week. I've been preparing for it by reading a few reviews, and I got the Hulk videogame (GC) coming in the mail as we speak.

The reviews that I have read seem to be positive, but the main argument I have heard is the length of the movie(too long).

Anyone care to comment? ^_^

Ugh. It had to happen sometime
Posted by: Shibo - 06-21-2003, 05:21 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (21)

Man.. After a year of buying at least one anime title every single week I guess I finally need to call it quits to buying for a few months to let my skyscrapers shrink a little. I think buying anime is my favorite hobby, while watching it comes in at a distant number two. Wink I bought Macross box on ebay on wednesday and ordered the 3 Urusei Yatsura boxes from Animeigo on fri.. That will have to be enough till September at least, methinks. =P A year ago my anime DVD collection consisted of Lodoss, Ninja Scroll, the Tenchi OVA, a couple of CCS discs, KOR, and lots of Pokemon. What a difference a year makes! Now that I have everything I'd ever wanted anime-wise..I want new stuff instead. So I'm counting on all of you to buy lots of stuff over the next few month. I'll live vicariously through the irresponsibility of others instead. But come september, watch out! Wink (not that I'll be going anywhere forum-wise. I'll still be around and all that. But it's been a while since I made a new topic, hehe)

  New Item View
Posted by: JunkieJoe - 06-19-2003, 06:16 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (13)

Did u guys see the new Item view? what do you think?

You can now sumbit (or will be in a day or 2) a synopsis if there is already one, for approval... (before if htere is a synopsis u cant submit another one unless an admin deletes it) now u can sumbit a better one and admin will basically read it and see if its better and approve it (deleting the old one)

also got little thing for notes now ... here's an example
http://www.import-anime.com/index.php?pa...em_id=1423

call it a quick box of information... irght now most items dont have any notes (thus notes field not appearing) but we are planning on going through the dvds (and maybe having userrs help us) and submit such info as R1 rip... MI rip or whatnot...

Anyhow... lets all give Schultz a pat on the back for a job well done Smile

Anyone else think FX SUCKS at packaging?
Posted by: dvd_master - 06-19-2003, 05:49 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (18)

Ugh, anyone else hate FX's packaging for most sets? Sometimes they'll find a good picture, but then the backs are so PLAIN.

Like Strawberry Eggs, tiny info, one picture, and that's it.

Fushigi Yuugi looks bad, a not-well chosen picture reduced in size and a boring fond typing out Fushigi Yuugi.

Rounrouni Kenshin's first set looks exteremly girls, with ugly typing again, and same with second set.

Sometimes they'll do good (C.B. KOHD movie, Read or Die) but for their gatefolds, it seems they suck. Ever hear of screenshots?

Anyone else agree? Or I'm just crazy? (or both...Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin )

  Get your Pocky!
Posted by: JunkieJoe - 06-19-2003, 01:49 PM - Forum: News/Announcements - Replies (5)

I've decided to give the pocky i have with orders since its a limited supply and since we are planning to have it sold on our website on a more permant basis straight from Japan! (along with other and all goodies available in Japan)

Schultz, the real brains behind this website, if it wasnt for his l33t coding skillz this website would still be my pipe dream, is living in Japan.. stationed with USAF on Okinawa Air Base, what that means is that to ship Pocky (or any other item direct from japan!!!) would cost u as if he was shipping it from within USA! Cheap shipping!

We will be working out the details later but think of it this way.. u want anything from japan... a new magazine that was released today... boom, its shipped the next day!

So there you have it folks! This pocky i have here will go out with orders over 50 dollars while supplies last (thats including shipping)
