Yeah, um, so is it just me missing something or are all of animegod.com's reviews excellent/excellent/excellent's? Despite what the actual quality of the set may be they seem to put down the same thing for every item's video/audio/subs. Like, I realize they are trying to move as much product as possible, but why even include the ratings if you're not going to use them properly... unless... you were trying to decieve someone!!! Hehe. Sure is a good thing we have the good folks around here pumpin' out reviews night and day. Perhaps I've not seen the more realistic reviews if they do have some. I just know that the subs on the MAC 5-disc'er Love Hina set are not "excellent.," (not on disc 3 anyway). Not like I pay attention to animegod for my reviews anyways.

I'm trying to find a good website or source that shows how all the Gundam shows line up as far as sequence of events, side stories, etc. There's so much out there and I'd like to learn more about what significance each show has in the whole Gundam universe and when the events in each show happen in relation to the other shows.

Also for you Gundam fans, I'm wondering which ones you would recommend seeing and which ones you'd recommend skipping over. As for what I've seen, the ones I liked were Gundam Wing, Gundam 08th MS Team, and Gundam Seed. I've also seen some of Gundam G but have no interest in that show whatsoever and can't even get through an episode without thinking it's completely ridiculous. Also I saw some of the original Mobile Suit Gundam but it was just too old and I couldn't get past the low quality of the show. So I'm wondering if any Gundam fans could make any further recommendations on which ones I should see. Thanks.

I found out the problem with the R1s/MACs not having the dub.

There are 2 Gundam Movie Boxset DVD releases in R1. One was Japanese with English Subtitles [which MAC ripped] while the other has a lighter blue cover and is English dubbed with no subtitles.

That explains why MAC said there was a dub and there wasn't. They didn't bother to get the other set and rip the tracks off that

I don't know if this has been covered, but will there be a fuction that will allow you to search under two differnt companies.

I'm kind of confused with the Noir dvds. I'm planning to buy them, but there seem to be different 3 different types of it when you search up "Noir".

There seem to be 3 types of Noir dvds from the search:
1. A 4-disc set that got very bad reviews

2. A 2 parts set that has 3-discs in the 1st part, and 2-discs in the 2nd part. This one got very good reviews, but the confusing thing is that there are 15 episodes in each part, therefore equaling 30 episodes. Noir is supposed to have only 26 episodes...

3. A 3-disc set. This is the one that most anime stores carry, and is the one that I am considering to buy, but there are no reviews for this one! Could someone please tell me the quality of these dvds?

I'm quite puzzled about the 30 episodes that apparently exist in the #2 type of Noir dvd set. And if anyone could please give me a first-hand review of the type 3 set of 3-disc Noir dvds, I would be most grateful! Thanks for all the help!
