Cowboy Bebop Set - Which one?
Posted by: castle_magic - 04-01-2004, 12:27 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (21)

Hey yo

I've never bought any HK dvd's before but i'm thinking that way for the Cowboy Bebop series because I don't really want to pay the massive books for the official R1 sets.

So....I was wondering if anyone could help me in pointing out which Cowboy Bebop set is the best , I hears there was a new remastered version out and was wondering where I could find it. Maybe eBay?

Thanks for any future help !

These dvds look extremely cheap don't you think? I am sorry to advertise but heres the deal

I am a student= I have no money.

Therefore I am selling some of my old dvds at bargain prices because I want to buy Twelve Kingdoms and Berserk off of this site (my anime cravings are getting worst).

Thanks

  Question about MI DBZ request
Posted by: Dagwood X - 03-31-2004, 10:06 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (2)

I don't mean to be annoying, but I've heard different and conflicting stories on the whole Funimation cease and desist orders sent to Import Anime.

I searched through the posts to find that several of these stores, including Import Anime got letters or orders from Funi telling them to stop selling Dragonball Z and the like.

Then I went to the request forum to see if anyone was requesting DBZ from there and I see one request for the DBZ set from MAC. So, my question is, if I request any of the MI sets of DBZ will JJ be able to get them, or am I just wasting his time by doing that?

P.S. Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this question.

  A suggestion for JJ
Posted by: Seijuro Hiko - 03-31-2004, 05:26 PM - Forum: Website Issues/Suggestions - Replies (2)

Hey JJ, I'm not new but I don't post a lot, I just wanted to suggest something regarding the request. i think it will be a great idea that when a member post a request and you try to get it in stock but you can't, you let people know that the title they request is not available for a certain time or is out of print, I know you get a lot of request for items that are not available but after a few times you inform the people, the member themselves can inform that the title id not available and finally if you get news of a title that gets out of print and you know that some people have bought it, you can inform even thou is not in request, because mayve in the future few people would like to buy it. The reason for suggestion is that I know that alot of people want to buy a title and they request it but they just have money to buy that title, so they don't buy anything else because they're waiting and they may wait for something that is not going to arrive. so that way they can buy something that is already in stock or request a title that can be in stock.

I know this is a great site but I think this will make it a little better...

Sincerely: Hiko

fx = Animation World International Limited?
Posted by: Vile - 03-31-2004, 09:09 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (8)

I was just looking over the fx RahXephon I recieved recently, and found that nowhere on the case can i find the little fx symbol, but written in large type on the lower back of the case, it says Animation World International Limited. I checked the cover art against the fx cover art on here and it matches, so I know I ordered fx. Identical situation with my Martian Successor Nadesico.

Can anyone help me shed some light on the subject?

Anyone know how many Mario animes there are?
Posted by: dallaslad - 03-31-2004, 12:36 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (9)

Topic.

I know of two...

http://yellow.ribbon.to/~lajosjancsi/en/...rtoon.html

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclop...hp?id=1380

or

http://smbis.nescentral.com/commentary/marioanime.htm

I think the second is quite rare.

I only know of these two, but wanted to see if there are more, or any other anime based on older videogames... Thanks
