I wanna start buying the mangas for 3x3 eyes that covers where the anime ended in episode 7. I know that an english version of the manga (vol. 8 - descent of the mystic city) just recently came out. Some websites are telling me that manga vol 6 takes place right after the end of the anime, others sound like it's vol 7 or 8. Anyway, has anyone been reading these and can tell me exactly which volume manga is right after the anime? Thanks a lot!

Hey folks, this is looking like it's actually gonna happen.
My wife and I are thinking about driving throughout the mid-west to visit friends and family.
The current stops on the route are as follows;
Lansing, MI
Trout Lake, MI (in the UP)
Winnipeg, AB (this is as far north as we want to go)
Madison, WI
Chicago, IL
St. Louis, MO
Then back home to Ontario.

If you have crash space to offer or just want to meet us (Katina will be with us too) then please let me know. In particular, it would be nice to have a place to stay in Minneapolis/St. Paul or somewhere between St. Louis and Ontario. I've had half a thought of extending the drive south to New Orleans to abuse the hospitality of the Schultzes but I'm not sure about driving that far south. Part of it will depend on how well our daughter deals with all that road time.

I'll probably be leaving on Sunday the 11th or Monday the 12th and coming back approximately two weeks later.

Apart from going to the Anime expo this coming weekend,
I'm thinking of clearing some of the anime in my BIG backlog.
Which animes should I watch?

Will these HK DVDs work on my Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop? (16x DVD-ROM) And will it work on all DVD players on laptops?

For all those who wished me luck, I was just hired by Josten's Photography to shoot school pictures starting at the end of August this year. I'm pretty excited to get to shoot pictures for a living (even if they aren't particularly creative shots) and get paid for it.

More importantly, they encourage me to continue my photographic business independantly so I can keep pursuing weddings and real estate photography to my hearts content.

Of course, the same time I find out about my new job, I also find that my wife has been laid off due to company restructuring. So we're still freaking out about finding a job for one of us to keep bills paid.

We're half thinking about taking a few weeks and driving out to the west coast to clear our heads and shoot some pictures. We really can't afford it so we probably wont but if I dissappear for a few weeks you'll know where I've gone.

If you guys have any cantonese dubbed anime that you either don't want anymore or you don't mind trading. Please PM me. I am asking for this because my grandpa can understand cantonese and he enjoys watching anime Dubbed in cantonese than rather reading the cantonese subtitles.

So i am a big fan of the mech type anime right... the Gundams, EVA, and well you get the point. But i was wondering about other good anime that doesnt have mechs in it. I heard Noir is bomb; anyway, your thoughts.

I've been waiting for a while and finally all the R1's have been released for Witch hunter robin. I was just woundering if anybody knows when to expect FX to make a rip and release it?
