there vs their vs they're |

Guys, I see you all using there, their and they're wrong. I thought I would educate you all, because it really pisses me off, especially since it's really easy.
They're = contraction for They are. Simple as that.
ex: they're a bunch of people!
their = shows ownership.
ex: That's their property.
there - Meant to show at a certain place. Indicating something unspecific. used in cases where the previous two aren't used.
ex: over there!
ex: THere you go.
ex: Hello, there.
There! Please, make sure to use them accordingly. No mixing up there and their, and god forbid you mix up they're with anything.

Japan Fights Piracy Abroad |

New piracy news:
With foreign export generating larger and more significant portion of the Japanese entertainment industry's income, especially in manga and anime, Japanese companies are working on methods to minimize their significant losses to piracy.
Due to its nature, manga sales have not been suffering significant losses to piracy, however there is a large number of pirated CDs and DVDs being sold overseas, large enough for the Japanese industry to begin researching and implementing drastic counter-measures.
The Japanese visual contents industry will begin labeling products with stickers designating them as legitimate exports, thereby making it easy to identify pirated goods. In July it was reported that 38 Japanese entertainment companies were set to introduce a "Made in Japan" trademark for similar purposes. According to a current report on Yahoo Japan, companies will start adding the stickers to exported goods as early as this September. In order to provide additional ammunition for their fight against international piracy they will also begin applying for trademarks in various countries in North America, Europe and Asia.
The reports do not mention what measures will be taken to keep piracy operations from copying producing fake copies of the identifying stickers.
Additionally, it was recently mentioned at the Otakon "State of the Industry" panel that Japanese companies may start direct legal processes against North American fansubbers (more details on this will be presented in our final Otakon coverage later this week).

I like manga a lot, and see some people like em to. So how about this thread just trades manga for other stuff. So anyone who's got manga to trade, or manga want lists - put them here, makes things a little simpler - no?

Artist Remaking Songs |

I wrote a good opening but this new fourm logged me off now I am having to retype...
Ok look I was wondering what you think of Artist redoing or covering over Artist songs. I feel for the most part they do a terriable job. I feel that if you remake a song you need to make it your own. Examples...
J. Simpson - Take My Breath Away... I really loath this remake of Berlin's smash hit.
L. Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes... I like the Who version 10 times better.
No Doubt - It's My Life... A good remake...
RHCP - Love Roller Coaster... A good remake that added to the song.
White Lion - Radar Love... they took this song and did what I feel remakes should do...
What do you think what are some remakes you hate and some you like
Oh this is about as half as long as my first new thread...
