I was watching a show on the history of gameboy and they were talking about Gunpei Yokoi who is the father of the gameboy. His first handheld was called the game and watch and the second model that came out before he created the gameboy looks almost exactly like the ds. Did anyone else notice this, maybe nintendo used that design as a tribute to him.

Hey, out of complete curiosity/randomness........ which stores in your shopping mall do you go to most often or which stores are your favorite? I usually go to the following:

-American Eagle (because they gots awesome clothes)
-Finish Line (NIKE SHOX , and other other cool shoes)
-Abercrombie and Fitch (Cool Clothes)
-Hollister (same reason as above)
-Sam Goody (cause they carry interesting anime dvds that best buy will never carry)
-Walden Books (READ MANGA lol..........i am such a manga junkie )
-Gap (same reason as the other clothes stores)
- and the FOOD COURT! (I always eat at the japanese place, they gots good stuf there ^_^)

According to TV Week (as reported in Radio-Info), the WB has cancelled the weekday "Kids WB" lineup (home of hacked-up anime shows like "Yu-Gi-Oh" and "Pokemon"), effective January. They plan on giving the time slot back to their affiliates for their own use, while keeping the Saturday morning block.

This, of course, was the same thing the old Fox Kids did when they exited weekdays.

I just saw the anime movie the venus wars yesterday on azn tv. Its from 1989 and honestly the animation is damn good for its time. Has anyone else seen this movie before. The story wasnt bad.

Ok so i just watched the series and i think i get most of it and maybe all of it but i want other peoples oppinions.

First off so then this company was forcing humans to evolve??? whats with the memories and the electromagnetic pulse and the manticore and also whats with boogiepop and the girl who was chasing the manticore.

I think i get most of that stuff but i thought i would get other peoples oppinions before i voice mine.

Anything else you wanna throw in would be cool

I am sorry if this topic is completly uninteresting to everyone here but I was not sure if I am alone in my liking for broadway, and even more so for movies based on plays. Mainly for the more recent Chicago movie and Moulon Rouge. Today I watched the phantom of the opera movie and I enjoyed it very much but my sister pointed out that the story was not that of the original movie with Lon Cheney. I never saw the play the phantom of the opera or read the old book for that matter. Does anyone here have any opinion of these movies or plays. And please if you have not seen them in any form dont post just to sayt something nasty.

I was very interested in this when i saw a preview so yeah i was wondering

Well I have finally gotten my first taste of Dead or Alive online had a chance to play 100 matches in the last week and a half and only won 34 of them. I have never had a game frustrate me more. I think the game is wonderfully done and looks great. My only complaint about the game is there is no real buffer to keep A or high ranked players from canibalizing off the lower ranked opponents. I don't win to often at Halo 2 but it doesent make me want to throw a controller through a window like DOA 2 does. How has everybody else fared who has gotten to try this game out? Oh yeah thought I would add I only started playing DOA three weeks ago never played the game previous to this time.

Has anyone here played or is playing Baten Kaitos? I've watched the game's video and it seems superb but I haven't seen any images of the actual game. Is it any good?
