****EDIT****
I bought the MI/AC version of the movies, and the AS is in fact a rip of the MI/AC set. Howeber, AS managed to squeez both movies onto a single DVD, wit a lot more compression. I can't remember the actual size of the AS DVD, but the MI/AC set has 2 DVDs at about 4.2 Gigs per DVD, so that means that the Video will definately look better, and the audio sounds better as well. All in All, the MI/AC set is the set worth getting. You can read my review, and see my pics for the AC/MI set on this review site as well.
****EDIT****
I thought that there could have been a lot of work done to make this a lot better (like putting the movie onto a DVD-9 instead of a DVD-5). As a whole the movie is really good looking, but on closer inspection there are quite a few blemishes.
Video - 3/5
The video looks a little too compressed. There are macroblocks everywhere. Some scenes will look absolutely fabulous, and then the next scene will look terrible. There are problems in areas with a lot of red, and the red pool in Heart bleeds a lot. Other than that the video is ok, there is some break up and bluriness here and there (and I think the bluriness is supposed to be there), but over all watchable.
Audio - 3/5
The Audio was all there. There wasn't any break up of any sort, but the music was mixed too loud, so it distorts when it's really loud, or there is high pitched noises. I couldn't get my setup or my head phones not to get the distorting noise without playing the movie really quiet. But since the dostortion was the only real problem, I don't take any more than I already did off.
Subs - 4/5
Standard HK fare. The subs are understandable over all, but in some cases kinda deviate from what the actual meaning is, but on the whole, there aren't too many mistakes.
As a whole the movie was only OK. From what I hear the MI/AC version is a lot better (which is why I sold my current set and bought that one), So the decision is up to you right now, I will post later and tell you whether or not this version compares.
