Didn't see any problems at all. Overall great quality. The High action scenes didn't show up as problems for me on my sony DVD player.
Audio:
Absolutely no problems. Listened only to the dubbed version but I occasionally went in and listened to the japanese track. No problems when I did so.

If you love Cowboy Bebop then you will love this movie. It capture's the serie's fast pace, smooth feel, laid back atmosphere. The story is intriguing needless to say and the musical scores are superb. If you haven't checked this out, do so now.

I did notice an odd pixelation/macroblock scene for a brief second towards the ending of the movie. But, that was the only time I saw one. Also even though I have the FX version, the annoying "M" symbol from MI pops up now and then during the movie. Kinda odd. But you can't beat this one, it is in WIDESCREEN! Everything is great besides what I mentioned.
Audio:
Like others have said 5.1! Japanese and English. Sound is great.

If you haven't seen this movie you should not be an anime fan. This movie ranks up there with some of the greatest. Full of action and drama, it will leave you wanting more from our cast we have growned to love. It is set on Halloween too... Great spooky time for a movie, huh? Go get this!

Great video and good quality picture too. Widescreen and it's great watching with a big screen TV.

Am surprised it's a 5.1 Ch for this FX set. Sound quality pretty awesome too. Hoped FX will keep it to that standard.

The Video is in Widescreen. DVD rip, great quality . Why i don't give it 5 ? simple...the FX version is now just the MI version with a FX package, so the famous M logo appears once in a while...no emails though , fortunately.
Audio:
Great Audio...5.1 or 2 ch Audio.

Inlcludes Texless Opening/Ending at the end of the Movie. Comes in a Transparent Plastic Case with Bebop's Photos. It seems that FX stopped using their version and are using this one now, that it's the MI version, only with the FX Package. Even includes the M logo at the beginning of the DVD and in the movie as well...

Great video on this release! I'm assuming it's a rip of the R2 DVD, because this video is very high quality! I noticed no pixelation, blending, or any problems with the video! Excellent job!
Audio:
Excellent job in the audio department too! Again, it's a rip of the R2 DVD, so it's very clear and crisp! No distortion present at all. Very good job in this part!

One of the greatest anime movies for one of the greatest anime series of all time! The Cowboy Bebop movie is basically a two hour episode, which in CB's case, is kick ass! The music rocks as like in the series, and will leave you singing the song for a while! Animation is superb, and even slightly better then the series! Lots of fighting in the movie, unlike the series majority of gun fighting. Spike kicks a lot of ass! One awesome movie! And the disc itself is great too! Mine started playing as soon as I put it in my player! From start to finish, it was superbly done. After the credits, though, SPike says something and it is unsubbed in my version. Didn't ruin my viewing though. Again, awesome movie and I recommend it for everyone!!

Appearently there's a way to make the video appear in widescreen. I was using DVDsubber to watch someone else's subs (just for kicks, Flora's are pretty damn good), and it started displaying in widescreen. Now, that's odd, I could have sworn it was letterbox... straight into my DVD player and it was Letterbox. I'm a little confused, but I'd have to say that if there's a way to force widescreen, then MI's release basicly has *NO* benefits over this. In short, buy this, support FX, enjoy your Anime.

I just got a litle note. Just got my FX Bebop movie, and when I opened the box, I was suprised that I didn't get the MI disc, but it was a 'real' FX disc. FXs' disc was supposed to suck, so I was a bit shocked. Just to let you konw, the new version is just a direct copy of MI's disc, but FX stamped his own cover on it. So that's that :) On to the disc: Video: Perfect R2 Audio: Great 5.1 ! subs: Spot on, fansub rips. not much to say, BUY IT!

This is without a doubt the most beautifaul HK I've seen so far. video- 5 Damn it was beautiful. Never saw any corruption at all. sound- 5 Sounded great on my system... though mine's only simmulated surround. packaging- 3.3 The usual FX reversable cover, with a list of scenes on one side... in Japanese... Cover just isn't very appealing, on any release subs- Nice. Spelled correctly for the most part, and even made sense. Quite refreshing for an HK. Perhaps if MI, AS and AV would live up to Flora's standards of subbing, there'd be more of a choice. As it is, there's no choice as far as subs go--Flora's the only truly decent subber. Ah well... Summation- Great DVD, grab it... Why not, I mean it's only like 12 bucks, including s/h (on ebay anyhow)

I'm super impressed with this release. Best HK DVD I've seen yet. Seeing the whole movie letterboxed is crucial due to the composition of every scene. Nice crisp colours throughout the whole movie and super sound that shows off both the great voice acting and wonderfull new soundtrack (I like the old music and am glad that this added to the existing Bebop library). There are a few typos in the subtitles but other than that they are professionally done, preserving the content and character of the speech. I'm not sure why HK DVDs don't include a seperate menu selection for extras but this disc does include the opening and closing music without words... just wait for the closing credits to finish for the treat.

Video quality on this version is the same as the MI version. The only difference is that it is not in widescreen. It has the same problem as the Initial D Movie that AC released. Sound is only in 2.0 channel although it does say 5.1 channel sound on the back cover. Compared to the MI version's 2.0 ch though, it sounds good. It doesn't break up and the sound level is lower. Subtitles were very good and the few misspellings in the MI version were not apparent here. I did find some differences in the content itself though. The MI version has the music video at the end which is not in the fx version. Unlike the MI version, it does not have a logo that pops up from scene to scene which is very welcome. However I prefer the MI version because I don't have a DVD player that can force a widescreen aspect ratio. Also since the MI version is in widescreen, the subs appear on the black bar on the bottom of the screen which makes it really easy to read. The fx version has the subs on the video itself. Overall, this version has a few pluses, clean video with no logo, fixed 2.0 sound, and a nice case and cover. With the video in 4:3 and and no 5.1 sound though, I would recommend the MI version.
