Video:

great video very imppressed

Audio:

Audio was up to par

Subtitle:

subtitle was so-so, the majority of episodes had good subtitles(font looked good also) some had character names changed the usual bit.

Comment:

This is a very funny series and I am also reading the graphic novel. One episode had subs from a previous episode so that killed me right there, i had to find an alternate way of watching that particular episode

Good video quality. Pretty good transfer

Audio:

Can't see anything wrong with this

Subtitle:

Well.. unlike the previous reviewer, i had subtitles for every episode. However, there was 1 episode that used the subtitles from the earlier episode (first one when they get to the island to look for treasure). Also annoying was the fact that they changed the characters' names midway through the set. They started using chinese names which are not the same ;)

Comment:

A good set. GTO is a very funny and interesting anime. A good set to sit down and have a lot of laughs with. Onizuka is just so hilarious.

Video and Audio were good. The subtitles were okay for the first three discs, the subtitles for episode 36 were used continually in episodes 27,28,29,30 31 and 37. If you read the manga, these episodes are in volume 10 to 13. The Story is so funny (Golden Boy style). I loved watching this anime, and I feel the anime is worth owning even if it had no subs. Overall, buy this set if you can deal with many good episodes, and no subs for 6 or 7 episodes. If not , don't. Since this series is so popular they will probably fix the problem...so you might want to wait and look on some message boards to find out. As a side note, the subs were also bad for GTO graphic novel Vol 1 by Tokyo Pop. Some of the writing required a microscope and many of the writing was hidden in the seams).
