Great video, DVD rip for sure. Colours are good, hardly any pixelation. I can't give it a 5 because once in a while there are those annoying email adresses and M logos harcoded in in Video :)

Sounded good to me, no problems

It's a great set really with wonderful Subs (can' figure where they came from , they seem too good ... even for Fansubs...Maybe the R2 included subs and they ripped it ? don't know ). Comes in a nice coloured Gatefold that holds the 3 Dvds.

The best video I've ever seen on a hkdvd (I've only watched the first episode though)
Audio:
I didn't find the distortion to be a problem, I thought it was very cool. None of the music nor talking is distorted only when they scream, so it actually adds to the feeling of the show, at least I think so.

All the video, audio, and the subtitles are all excellent throughout for this DVD set. Some minor grammar mistakes in the subs but nothing major. Though the description lists 23 episodes, you get all 26. A great buy.

I bought this set for my brother's birthday, so I haven't seen the whole thing yet. But based on what I sample through the 3 DVD, everything's in good order. Good Visual, Audio and the sub is pretty good. I'm looking forward to see the whole things.

While not quite as beautiful as the R1 version, the video quality of this set is very impressive. The only difference I could tell is that sometimes the colors seem 'washed', but once again this is only compared to the R1's.

This is where this set suffers. If you are one of those people who likes to crank up the volume and get the total movie experience when you watch anime, you are going to be slightly angered when you hear the fuzz/distortion at higher volumes. If you watch your anime at normal 'TV listening' level, then you might not even notice the audio problem at all.

Very good release by AC/MI. A show that a lot of people wanted to see, but didn't want to fork out 180 dollars for the R1 release.

first off, this set contains ALL 26 episodes (yes, even the 2 OAVs- 25 & 26 are here) of the series, contrary to 23 listed on the site. Video - 4/5 - DVD sourced. There are a couple instances in which the video flickers for a split second or so during some episodes. However, i can probably count it with one hand. Audio - 4/5 - No complaints with my setup. Subs - 4/5 - Great! I didn't notice any spelling errors. One or two lines werent subbed. They didn't separate the subs into two lines when two people are talking, so you just have to figure it out, not hard.. a couple times, the subs come on and disappear in a second so you have to rewind and pause. The set to buy if you like this series

Okay this one is all dvd rip!! They did a good job considering compression issues not too much pixelation through the series to tell you the truth one added thing by the way considering space they kept all the openers, closers and previews which was nice but after a while you just want to get to the next episode to see what happens next. Video wise this set is worth while.
Audio:
Okay I mentioned this in my Berserk review who ever did this turned the volume all the way up cause you can tell when they recorded it, it was so loud it distorted and its like that all the way through. Don't get me wrong it is perfectly watchable but you can tell at times that no matter how low you turn it down it will always sound like that.
