Video:

the video is really good. it has some little problems like artifacts and stuf like that, but that's because it is an old show. i was quite impress after watching the AS one though.

Audio:

really. no problems at all. beautiful sound overal.

Subtitle:

really good. some errors here and there. they forget some letters and words. there where like 2 or 3 missing lines which weren't really that important.

Comment:

this is a halarious series. i laugh in every episode. its a little like chobits on the breast jokes, but instead of bleeding theres puking.

Video:

Not too bad. There was very minor pixilation is some scenes. That's about the only problem I noticed.

Audio:

Sounded fine.

Subtitle:

Really good. Only a few minor problems. A few mispelled words, and then there was episode 12. For about 2/3rds of this episode, the dialogue lagged behind what was being said by one line. Luckily, being not too much of a dialogue driven episode, it's not all that confusing.

Comment:

Good show. Had some really clever ideas. Worth the $30.

Video:

The video looked good on both my HDTV and my computer monitor. It's an older anime, and there was no DVD source to take it from, so I have no real complaints here.

Audio:

Nothing to complain about here... I was listening through crap speakers, but I had no problems.

Subtitle:

Contrary to the anonymous posts, I'd have to say these were great subs. Perhaps that's after watching lots of AV titles, but these seemed pretty damn nice.

Hilarious series. I got everyone I showed it to into it, and none of them would EVER have picked up something A) old or B) Not touted as a classic. It's one of the better anime I've seen, and HIGHLY reccomended for everyone, but anime newcomers especially (

I know some of the other reviewers said the video quality is great, but I'll have to disagree... Maybe I'm spoiled by regular region 1 dvd quality (which I've never thought was great either) but the video in these dvds looks like it was ripped from a good VHS copy. Definitely not laserdisc (see AC's Love hina for a good example of a high quality rip) but watchable.

Audio:

once again, the audio wasn't the worst I've heard (that would go to AC's slayers) but it's nothing to write home about, that's for sure.

Subtitle:

ugh. Here was the worst part. Though the language was generally intelligible, there were many lines that went simply untranslated, and some that lagged their audio cue by as many as 30 to 40 seconds.

Comment:

This anime is definitely funny and worth a watch. The manga was even better. Unfortunately, this DVD set isn't the greatest. Still, though, for the $30 I paid, it was well worth it.

This is an enjoyable series. It may not be ground breaking but it manages to be surprisingly entertaining. It's worth watching for Karin (covergirl) alone. All in all a good watch. Some crude humor and strange fights but an enjoyable ride. Video quality is great on this set considering the age of the show. No signs of compression or pixelation.

Audio:

I could't find anything wrong with the audio on any episode. This is very good news because L'arc en Ciel's 'Blurry Eyes' is played for the intro of the show so you'll want to crank up the volume without having to deal with fuzz/distortion.

Subtitle:

The subtitles are pretty good on the first two discs, but there are timing issues on the last disc and spelling errors on the OAV episodes.

Comment:

This was a really enjoyable show overall. Not something you sit and watch EVERYDAY, but fun to watch every once in a while (especially with friends). If you like shows with a perverted main character who gets himself in akward situations, Junta won't dissapoint. Lots of laughs throughout the entire series.

The quality is pretty good all around. The subtitles are easily understood, and the video/audio are as best as could be expected for an anime from the early 90's. Quick Review Video? 3.5/5 Audio? 4/5 Subtitle? 4/5 worth you money!!

Excellent subtitles (4 stars), but has a timing problem in one episode (I think it was episode 12), where the subs lag behind one line for a longer time (minus 0.5 stars makes 3.5 overall). But it's not a big problem since it happens in a fight scene, where the dialogue isn't that complicated.

A little bit of everything in this series: comedy, romance, action. Easy to watch. Recommended!

This is a great series that is very entertaining. The video quality is very good. Worth getting as a hk dvd since it doesn't look like it will ever come out as a r1 disc. They don't know what they are missing. video:4.5/5 Very good video quality. Does not look as colorful or sharp as some of the newer series with digital coloring but this is an older anime that was produced using the old school way of hand coloring. Still looks very good. No worst than ranma. sound:4/5 no problem here. Just nothing spectacular. subbing:4/5 Almost the whole show is in perfect english and hve perfect timing except episode 12. The timing is a few seconds off but luckily it is a action heavy episode with less dialogue than the other episodes. This is the only episode that have this problem.

Content: 3 DVDs with15 episodes of romantic comedy. Sexy Karin Aoi travels back through time to prevent 16 year old Junta Momonari becoming a mega playboy, who will have 100 children with hundred women and thus being the cause for Japan's overpopulation problem in the future. But things won't go as planned and Junta finds himself among four attractive girls with his mega-playboy-genes awaking. Video: Good - Although this is not from DVD source and there are occasional dropouts I have seen official releases that don't look better Audio: Very good - Nothing to complain for me with my simple Lo-Fi equipment. Subtitles: Good - Subs are very good with occasional typos. But on one episode on the last disc the timing is one line late nearly through the whole episode. I think it's episode 11 or 12. Timing for the other episodes is OK. There are some mistimings, but they never last longer than a few seconds. At the end of the episode you will already have forgotten about that. Other: All Openings/Endings/Previews are intact. Even the bumpers for the commercial breaks are there. And it has a very nice title music: "Blurry Eyes" from Larc-en-Ciel. The set comes in a nice AC gatefold package. Overall: I really liked this set. Great content and good DVD with exception of one episode's sub-timing. But as there isn't any official release of DNA2 in sight, I recommend this set to everyone who likes sexy romantic comedy.
