more engrish than part 1 where I did my review but it was from AV and not manga, some missing lines too of course still understandable but some words I didn't even understand in the subs.
Comment:
this set contains episodes 27 to 39. I've seen better in quality but the show itself is still good at this point, just noticed less action and more talking along with their mission that suddeny changed for reasons I believe I didn't understand.

Well, the subs are now fully switched from fansubs to hk, which is fine except for some parts, such as Sanzo's past at the monastary. The concepts of Buddhism are hard to translate anyway, so I give them props for trying. I understand this show a lot better now that I've read the books [yes, _all of it], even though the show deviates from the books a lot, even as basic as switching the personalities [but not pasts] of Hakkai and Gojyo. Overall I really like this series, it serves all audiences well with both action and bishonen. Probably leans toward shonen because there's no painful romance subplots.

Has HK engrish since Set 1 disc 3, but is understandable. Actually, it kind of helps keep the charm of the Japanese language and colloquialisms.
Comment:
To my great surprise, the whole Kou Gaiji thing was not resolved by the end of the series, which is especially odd since in the original story it was only a few chapters... the story twists to place the main opponents of Sanzo's troupe as a completely different set of people. Also, after 52 episodes, we still can't tell-- is it shoujo, or neutral? [The high ratio of bishonen prevents it from being a "shonen" series.]

This set gives you 13 more episodes of Saiyuki. To bad they didn't complete the show here as there still is 11 episodes that will be released eventually in set 3. The video here, once again is R2 and VERY good. Much better than the first set here and you get less pixelation than with first set. Audio, once again great audio no problems at all. The subs: Subs are what you care about ne? Well these are all HK originals. They are very good and easy to understand, no timing or problems with missing subs here so thats a big plus. As for the translations its very easy to follow and you shouldn't get lost especially after seeing the first set and knowing what things should be named. The names are wrong which can be a pain. All are the chinese equivalents of the names so they are wrong, but is a sense they are right since its a chinese story, but still its an anime and uses Japanese names. Names of various people or kind of things is strange and can be confusing like Kammi becoming Genies. Also for some reason they used the word Prolix alot in this set. Who knows though. The subs are very good though, I really recommend this if you loved the first set and want to continue. I personally can't wait for set 3 to finish this show up.
