Ick, the original Sol Bianca was a decent classic, but this is just a piece of total crap. This used some of the first digital animation out there and it shows as the animation is total shit. The clean digital looks makes everything move very stiff so the 2d nature of this anime shines way to much. Hand drawn anime and newer digital anime has a cleaner and more organic feel, this stuff just looks like sliding pictures. Little details are not animated either. Panning is done way to fast and at such high fps that this moves it just looks even more fake. There is also CG mixed in here, not to hot. Its not horrible, beats alot of stuff out there but at times they mix the extremely 2D backgrounds and foreground material with CG elements and it does not fit at all. Horrible.
As for the show, it sucks big time by itself. But lets just talk about the quality of this piece of crap.
This is likely a rip of the official Odex release by the way.
Video: Good video, colors are very sharp and vibrant here. The digital animation is really bright *ick*. No problems, there is some break up during some of the more elaborate CG scenes but nothing bad at all. It looks real good, to bad the show doesn't. Maybe I've put down this crapfest enough? I don't know.......
Audio: Excellent audio, surround track with no noticeable problems. The show has some nice music at least, but some of it was a little weird for anime to me.
Subs: Very good subs. They would almost be perfect but the english at times can be a little strange but thats only in a few instances. These are likely lifted off the Odex discs as well and those had some strange grammer in them as well. But its very good subs, no real problems at all, almost perfect I would say.
Good release, horrible anime. Go buy some hentai or something, sure theres better stuff in there.
