Overall:

Video:

The picture is very grainy. It looks like a 2nd or 3rd generation transfer from 10 year old vhs tapes. Since this show has all 13 eps on 1 disc there is macroblocking and pixilation on fast moving scenes. Another point that I noticed that was when I was noticing the ep ending credits. The names were partially cropped off making me believe that you're only getting 80% of the picture that you should be. I dont know if this show is originally in a 4:3 format or widescreen that a lot of the newest titles are starting to be shown as.

Audio:

No noticeable problems with distortion or drop out. Only listened to the dub. and spot checked the japanese.

Subtitle:

Funimation titles have a history of having a set of "dubtitles" and "subtitles" on them. The first 9 eps have the dubs and the last 4 have the subs. The subs were also missing a lot of lines on longer sentences. If a character said a short line that would come out fine but if it were longer dialouge you would get every other line. Sometimes the line of 2 characters would get fused. An example being the 1st line of character "A" would go up then the 2nd line of character "B" making it confusing as hell if you were watching in japanese.

Comment:

I liked this series but this is the worst transfer that EZ has done yet. P.S I checked it out and the R1's are widescreen while this is not so the sides are cropped out.
