Video:
This set stubbornly follows Mac's recent tradition of one D9 disc (with 12 eps) and two D5 discs (with 7 eps each). While this is not a bad idea, why not just use two D9 discs, like the Mahoraba set? Anyway, here we get fairly good video, in 4:3 aspect. The only problem I saw was a bit of light blockiness on bright flashes of light and some fast movement - but this was mostly evident in the credits.
Audio:
English in 2.0 and 5.1, Japanese in 5.1! Didn't find any problems with the audio. The songs were in English in the English dub, just like Kiddy Grade and Fruits Basket.

Comment:
No extras. No chapter marks within episodes.
This is my first look at a Tenchi show - so I was a bit surprised when the main character was actually an unlucky prick called Seina! This show reminded me a little bit of Nadesico or Vandread, but not quite so good. Not a bad show though - there's still plenty of funny moments - so I may still check out the other Tenchi shows.
