Video was Excellent, I only caught 1 Digital Drop, but it was maybe 3 frames, and small.
Audio:
Audio seemed very low to me. I didn't hear anything wrong with it other than that. I thought something was wrong with my set as there were no words being said until episode 2.

This doesn't get a 5 since there were minor artifacts like rainbows and dotcrawls (you have to be looking for them to notice in most cases). The video quality despite that was pretty good.
Audio:
I only watched this in English so can't speak for the other track. I thought the audio came out great, the voice acting was pretty good (especially the characters who don't talk much), and this title has the coolest sounds opening theme song in anime IMO.

This was a title that I had never heard of and got it anyway. I was surprised by how much I liked it due to it's storyline around turf wars, cyborgnetics, and a land thought of as some sort of heaven for the people living below. This title was pretty confusing at the beginning but as the story progresses it makes more sense.... however they throw a curve ball at you every once in a while. Note this title should not be seen by the kiddies not only because of the series but the outtakes they give you are really funny ex. "This is how I deal with all of life's problems, I point a gun at it"

The video quality is pretty good. There isn't a rip that I've found yet that is as good as the original, but I guess that's a given. I found that there was minimal pixelation in the dark scenes, but a lot of rainbowing (first ep, shower scene) and dot crawling (all the night scenes). You won't see most of these problems if your not watching this in HD, since most of the details are lost at 480i. But otherwise, everything looked pretty good.
Audio:
Found no problems. No significant signs of distortion in stereo. No Dolby or DTS support though.

Comment:
In terms of pixelation, this is one of the better rips I've seen, maybe even the best one. But it presents itself with a whole new set of problems that were minimal with other rips (rainbowing, dot crawling). I wouldn't worry to much about these problems, as they aren't too visible, esp. on a non-reference setup. The originals might have even had the same problems, since i see a lot of film grain on my setup with original movie dvd's.

The video quality for this set was excellent despite the dark nature there were no problems even in the really dark screen times which obviously there are a lot of. There was no pixelation, macroblocking, or anything else that could distract from the viewing of this series.
Audio:
The audio was loud and clear just like id expect from a newer series like this one. The dub was done quite well too and the opening theme is pretty cool.

Comment:
This anime was pretty interesting I don?t think I understand it fully right now but it?s defiantly one of the darker titles I?ve seen. The pacing itself is quite slow much like Lain was but still this is significantly better it?s quite bloody though so consider this a warning. I would defiantly recommend it to fans of darker animes that don?t mind bloody ones and things of that sort I personally must say I thoroughly enjoyed it and will watch it again sometime in the future. The first episode takes quite a while about half the episode passes before there is a single word of dialogue and that will defiantly chase some people away and I still find the fact that the creators would try something like that quite surprising. But despite the slow pacing and all of that it was an enjoyable series to watch and the price is good so I?m happy I took a gamble and bought this series. If anyone?s worried about an inconclusive ending id say this series is finished pretty well with all the loose ends tied up.
