Seeing that there is only just over an hour worth of video on this disc it's no surprise that the quality is amazing. Imagine any negative adjectives you might be able to think of to describe poor video quality on a DVD and you WONT find any of those here. Both OAVs are crystal clear without any pixellation or colour shifting.
Audio:
The audio here is identical to the R1 release. I prefer the original japanese audio to the English dubs bu that's a personal preference. Both of the audio tracks are gorgeous.

I guess this isn't too bad given when it was created. I would love to see this series continued with a larger budget and modern animation. It's one of my favourite manga series.

The video quality is great. I did see some green squares flash on screen once but checked the part over again where it happened and it did not happen again. And it should be said that even though this is an old series the animation quality is very good as well.
Audio:
Sound quality is fine. The English dub is a little uneven a few times but if you mostly listen to English dubs then you will likely at least be okay with this one.

Notes* *I watched this series on a Coby brand DVD player (DVD-224 model) with AV cable on a 25 inch RCA TV *Extras: Slide show (still shots from the series) and some character art. *Also some old ADV previews (including Evangelion and Slayers lol) The series it self: Even though it's only 2 episodes long Battle Angel is a good watch that packs so much story (and a good one at that) in to a short time that your left wishing it was longer. It used to be rare but now that this R1 rip is out you have no good reason not to own it. :)
