Video:
This set has a wonderful video quality. Each disk is recorded in variable bit rate and episodes are distributed evenly across the disks, allowing for some of the best video quality available on a sushi set. Color is deep and lines are sharp. This series uses a lot of "static" effects, like Lain, and show nearly no sign of macroblocking. There is some grain, which is oddly more evident in some scenes than in others, leading me to think that the original R1 source is responsible for this.
Audio:
English 2.0 Dolby Stereo 224kps & Japanese 2.0 Dolby Stereo 224kps
No syncing or distortion issues. The dub is very well voice acted, even tho a lot of the dialog is borish and slow.

Comment:
Case Front: Very well designed gatefold, featureing the artwork from the Vol. 1 release, all in deep and dark color.
Case Back: The back has the exact same summary as on the previous information page (including typos) and is layed out very nicely with production credits and disk summary.
Inside and DVDs: The internal art is very nice, featuring a close up of three main characters with the same image reflected smaller on the disks. Very nice and professional. The flaps are a bit plain, with only a few images and the logo.

My only complaint about this set at all are those ****ing push-clamp dvd holders that MI uses! I hate those things.
