Overall:
Video:
Near perfect R2 rip, but some of the extras are compressed, which is why I knocked off a .5
Audio:
Sounded really good on my old 1998 RCA, its stereo cant say much more.
Subtitle:
Ok the subs on this are not that bad, I wouldnt say they were Engrish, there actually pretty clear and fairly accurate. However there is one draw back, all the names are wrong, this was obviously directly trsnalted from the Chinese script. If the names were correct I would give this a 4, and if the sports festival had been subbed I would have given it a 4.5
Comment:
Had the sports festival been subbed, and they merely used a fansub script on the movie this would have been a great buy. Do what I did, buy this dvd use a sub rip on the fansubs, add it to this dvd and re-burn it.

Video:
Very excellent. Action wise the visuals are really excellent and the camera angles is a big part of what puts the action into perspective and keeps the viewer excited which is why really is Naruto. And you'll really love what they did with the Rasengan in this one.
Audio:
The seiyuus are back and still has the same kick ass soundtrack which reflects the mood of the series.
Subtitle:
This is probably the worst feature of the anime. It has a lot of translation errors and it tends to translate too Chinese-ly. And on my copy of the DVD, the sports festival isn't subtitled.
Comment:
You'll really love the special features like trailors, a funny chat with Inoue Kazuhiko and Takeuchi Junko, a music video to the ending theme.
