Video:
Only one instance of pixelization that i was able to catch in the whole set, and as colorful and frenetic as the show tries to be this is quite impressive.
Audio:
Good sound on my WalMart bought entertainment system, no sloppiness, did not have to turn it up all the way like i do wit some sets.

Comment:
Gravion is what i'd call a Mechsploitation show... Definately a tounge in cheek approach to the old saturday morning Mecha epics that found their way here in the late 70's and 80's. Think Giant Robo but with a definate sence of low brow humor. If you've ever wondered what would happen if the girls from Love Hina would pilot a Mecha, you're kind of getting there. Plus it seems the whole crew that worked on Full Metal Panic (both in N. America and Japan) really liked the chance to do a silly twist on the genre they helped revitalize and bring down to a new generation who dig the apparant screwball comedy that new fans of anime seem to have cut their teeth on. Not saying that this is for fans of FMP per se, but if you liked it enough to follow some careers, this is a good one to check out...
