Video:
The video on these discs is very disappointing, even in comparison to previous sets, with colours looking washed out and pixellation visible on movement of just about any kind. The first disc contains 13 episodes (predictably the worst of the three) and the other two each contain 9. The poor quality leads me to believe that this is a DVD-5 release and 13 episodes on a DVD-5 was never gonna look pretty. What are MAC thinking?! They are all DVD rips though unlike the last set which had some TV rips at the end. The DVD rips of those episodes are included at the beginning of this set.
Audio:
Both english and japanese audio tracks are here for all episodes and the quality is nothing to complain about. The sound on the japanese track seems to be off by a fraction of a second on the first disc but it's nothing major unless (like me) you're picky about that sort of thing.

Comment:
It's sad to see how these MAC DBZ sets are declining in quality. Admittedly in some ways this set is an improvement over the last one in that all the episodes are in the correct order, they are all DVD rips, and the opening sequences are complete this time, but it's the poor video quality on these discs that lets the whole thing down. I really hope MAC go back to DVD-9s for the upcoming Parts 7 & 10.
